Wow, that's impressive. I'm sure the location of the RCA/XLR connectors has a HUGE impact on SQ. As for the trigger being in a different spot... once again hugely detrimental the SQ. As for Halcro offering ethernet and serial connections, (or even better speakers connections for that matter) that's great value for $7K. WilliamM2, take a closer look at the internals and see what you come up with.

Who really gives a rat's **** other than the emo fanboys here..

If you like it...buy it and enjoy it. You really don't need to try and SELL the rest of us on your favorite stuff.

As an aside...I have no problems with some liking their gear....I mean REALLY LIKING their gear and letting everyone know. But folks tend to get tired of the constant "giant killer" or "better than costing thousands more" hype that some want to perpetuate. If it's good gear...GREAT...then you have good gear. We have gone through the same thing with SVS, OPPO and others. Good products, sure...but not be all...end all stuff. It's the fanboy mentality that gets threads like this started...everyone has opinions...and the chances of anyone changing someone else's is slim to none.

Now.... I would like to see this tread get back to more pointless tangents that has nothing to do with what the elitist, audio snob Ricardo originally posted. Carry on.

I did take a look at the internals, and everything is different. The most important part, the amp modules, are also completely different. I don't see any similarities.

    Get your eyes checked.

Correct completely different modules just coincidentally look similar. There are only so many ways to put 7 modular channels in a 17" chassis.

McDonald's has Apple pie @ 2 for a dollar. Anybody going that way?

Hey that's my basic for lunch on the run, McChicken sandwich (plain), two apple pies and a sweet tea...$3. Good stuff!

Well...the Halcro is a Class d design, and weighs roughly 50 pounds. The Emo is a class H design weighing in at a hefty 115 pounds. I'd say there are a few differences.

As for the similarities...well...they're both power amps. No one can deny that. They're both black, and of a modular design. Other than that, I'm not seeing much that they have in common.

That's about the only thing they're food is good for. The only thing I ever get there are their shakes...Mcdonalds barely even falls into the category of food IMO.

I haven't been to McDonalds in like 6 months probably...It's a very rare occasion that I go there. The food they have just doesn't do it for me. It's too greasy...and it doesn't really taste that much like food. More like a synthesized hunk of something that's supposed to imitate food...lol

Well...I don't mind their chicken there actually. The nuggets are good...and their chicken sandwiches aren't bad. As far as their burgers go though, I won't even eat them. Their breakfast food isn't bad either.
