Bought you? So, you are now a Plasma?
Congrats! Very Nice Plasma.Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin: -
The Panasonic is an absolutely beautiful set with great specs. You've made us all apporpriately envious but in a good way!
Now that Pioneer may be leaving the plasma field, I think the Pannie will RULE!
Enjoy,

I saved extra money to take my wife out for valentines day and buy her new glasses and contact lens, she needs it.
It will come within 3 -5 business day. Cant wait!!
It says onkyo compitiable. I wondered what does this mean? have 805 and Daniel (online panasonic chat customer service) said i had to call Tech support for that info.
Anyone know what it meant?I am 100% BORN DEAF and No I am not kidding! Why am I here? My wife's hearing!

There must be something else; I would say all TV remotes today can be programmed to control any A/V gear. Maybe earlier versions were not compatible and video didn't look right?_________________________________________________

Congrats on the set, I agree with other comment as Panny should take over the Plasma market since Pio is on the exit. Nice size screen you have too. Mount it on the wall and enjoy.
Next would be to install a two way system, using plasma during day, front PJ at night.;)Enjoy it though, excellent find.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Its no big deal but i am wondering...
Was gonna buy RTI series speakers with tax money but wife said She is ok with HTIB for a while and want us to buy TV set instead. I will slowly buy RTI a speakers piece by piece to properly set up. For my situation, wife said i will enjoy TV instead of bass from subs. It is true and i want her enjoy her music too. So, we will slowly buy polk stuff. so ill be CP for a long time!I am 100% BORN DEAF and No I am not kidding! Why am I here? My wife's hearing!

You'll be fine with the HDMI cable you already have. The 120 hz refresh rate is taken care of internally in the TV...the HDMI cable has no bearing on it, as it isn't actually transferring a 120hz signal. Some of the cable companies(cough-monster-cough) will try to tell you otherwise...but there's no need for it.

Also, my rack setting plan is about 7 feet away from TV. I am wondering how can i plug power cord to Monster Power MKII 3600 replacement unit i might get this week from the company. I will need at least 15 feet to 25 feet cord. Heavy Duty Extension cord? Will it be ok to hide behind wall /trims to the mkii unit on the rack?
or can i order longer tv cord?I am 100% BORN DEAF and No I am not kidding! Why am I here? My wife's hearing!

Congrats on the sweet TV!!!
As far as compatability, I would imagine they are referring to the I/O and control capabilities between the TV and the AVR.
Page 99 of the Onkyo Owner's manual mentions the features.
ControlThis function allows CEC-compatible components or
RIHD-compatible components connected via HDMI to
be controlled with the AV receiver.

I'm no expert on this, but I don't think you can run any electrical wiring (such as what you linked to) in-wall except what is already there (Romex). If anything you'd have to run it on the surface using WireMold.
25' is a long run too.____________________
