Sick of Winter Rant

I've had enough of Winter! I am a lazy slug, I can't get motivated to do much around the house. I've been leaving for work before it's daylight and returning home well after dark. We're just insanely busy at work. I can't complain about the lack of business or worries about my job. But still, I'm just down. Not even the thought of buying some new audio toys excites me. My Steelers won the Super Bowl which gave me a smile, but not the adrenaline rush to go out and burn some sofas in the downtown streets. I guess I've got the Winter blues!! Or, I'm getting old.:(

Who else is getting their **** kicked by Winter???

Eh, it's cold and I don't like it cold. I'll admit it.

I hear you; we've had close to 20 inches of snow/ice in tha last 9 days. Not something we get too often around here. I'm ready for SPRING!!!!!!

P.S. Audio purchases ALWAYS excite me ;)

This WINTER has sucked big time. I'm tired of cold gray days.......pot holes and heaved pavement on the streets. Salt everywhere......it's so dry around here every time I take my winter jacket or shirt off I get stinging little pin **** of static electricity shocks. Flaky skin, irritated sinus's.....burning eyes.

That's why I drink on the weekends.....:D:):D. Hang in there Carl!!! :)

I hear ya man, winter is getting old fast!
When i'm working, i'm outside driving all across my state for the majority of my time, and damn does this weather make it less then desirable, it's fun at first for me, but that fades quickly. Come on summer, or even spring for that matter!

Carl,, sounds like a visit to an audio establishment is what you need to pull out of the "funk" you are in,,down here in Georgia, when I get the blues,, I just go outside and shovel the snow during wintertime.:p

I'm so on board. This winter has sucked. I'm so over every single day wearing multi layers of cloths just to keep warm. I'm tired of it. Spring can't come fast enough.

I'd much rather deal with the heat.

We NEED the sun for melatonin.....the lack there of is what brings us all down.
Just can't wait to get out in the yard and fuss over my trees and bushes.

Hard to complain about mowing grass once a week after the sucky winter months! :D

Carl,You might try dropping a tube amp in your rack, that would warm your heart and let you slip away and get over these Winter Blues for just a little bit.

It's forecasted to be close to 70 here on Saturday

Hey Carl! This winter has been nasty. The neighbors dog uncovered part of the lawn and we just stared at it for awhile.

I got a bad virus this year, was sick for weeks. Still recovering. I also get winter depression. The wife sticks me under the grow lights in the basement every now and then. The RAS get togethers have been good.

The global warming crowd brought those kinds of comments on themselves, because every time there's a hurricane, or every unseasonably hot day they come out of the wood work screaming "see! see! global warming!!" So you can't be surprised when people do the opposite.
