I took my youngest yesterday afternoon to one og the new digital theaters and we loved it. The only problem I having never seen the cartoons is keeping up with who the bad guys are.

7.8 out of ten and definitely be added to the Blu-Rays when it's released.

Megan looked a lot better in this one...less sleazy....really I mean oily.

    Well,

A lot of frenetic action...maybe a bit too much! Not as good as #1 but not horrible. My daughter seemed to like it more than I? The film is a bit like the attention span of 'kids'...got to keep MOVING....don't stop to reflect or ask any questions. It also reflects our TIMES...a postmodern dynamism of the forever 'new' and 'stimulating' but to what END no one knows anymore and doesn't even think we should ask such questions! Oh well. Could use an edit...as well.

Probably look good and sound GREAT in Blu-ray...on another note, I noticed that my theater is using a Klipsch based surround system?

Honestly that is what I kind of disliked about the 1st Transformers...

I could honestly care less about Sam Witwicky, his family, and his girlfriend. Not to mention the reason why he is connected to the Transformers. I have waited my entire life to watch Optimus Prime, life size, kick mega ****. Now - the little back story is cool, it ties it all together. But, in the new movie, I could have done without the college scenes, the loves scenes, any of that...

This is a popcorn flick. Remove your brain and hold on. Lots of violence, lots of death, lots of kicking ****.
    - Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Kinda sounds like a never ending battle for Truth, Justice and the American Way, seems like I heard that somewhere before???

Lemme guess, these things can leap tall building in a single bound.

Loved it! Popcorn action at it's best. Movies like this are about great special effects and lots of action and this film delivers.

When I go into a film like this I don't care about how it follows the original story, the quality of acting or trying to find some fantastic plot. Just take me away for 2 hours for a great ride.

    A+

Just saw it & I dont know what all the fuss is about, it was pretty damn good. Alot like the first one but much more action & its longer. Optimus actually kicks **** in this one & doesnt get thrown around by megatron the whole film, the way it should be!

just watched the crappy haji copy I bought from one of the Iraqi vendors. The movie was pretty cool, everything I have come to expect for a popcorn flick. I will definitely be buying this on Blu-Ray, especially since I had to watch a copy made with a camcorder on my laptop.

Robots... Beating the hell out of one another.
And the transformer Isabel Lucas tail-scene... Jebus...

Anyone who complains about how real this or that is or how this or that could never happen... It's f##kin' alien robots... Seriously.

If you were looking for fantastic story line... It's a movie based on toys... Not a movie that happens to have some toys that sell good. It even says in the credits that it's based off the toy line by Hasbro. This isn't some fantastic award winning "make you think" drama; it's a story about robot aliens, based off of friggin toys and it involves two hot chicks somewhere in there...

I didn't waste $7.50; I invested $7.50 on 2.5 hours of entertaining, ****-kicking robot aliens interacting with a guy and a couple hot chicks...

We just saw this at the IMAX, first time at a regular imax theater. The experience was awesome overall.

    As for the movie...

I don't see how anyone who purchased tickets and knowingly walked in to watch a Transformers movie could hate this film, I just don't. I thought this was better than the first by a large margain.

Did it have great acting or a good story line? No clue, didn't watch it for those. There were three things I wanted to see in this movie:

    1 - Good special effects...check
    2 - Hot chick...check
3 - Alien Robots kicking ****...check

    I'm good

Movie kicked ****!! I went in looking for robots blowing stuff up,some eye candy, good special effects, and good sound. I came away feeling like I just saw a Rambo or Rocky movie. I was pumped up after the movie let out. I went to the gym afterwards and had an amazing workout. Don't know if it was the action or watching Megan Fox running around all sexified. Hell, she could be wearing a bag made of beetle dung and she would still be hotter than 98% of all women on their best day. That other chick that was mentioned was nice as well, but she needs to eat something for goodness sake. She reminds me of a girl I trained last year. The hardest part of training this girl was the fact that I was also training her girlfriend at the same time. Talk about having a hard time staying professional and not standing there with my jaw on the floor. My family went to the State Fair and I ran into them there. I thought my wife was going to have a heart attack when April came over to talk to me. I introduced everyone and even my father in law was standing there wide eyed. I think I need to offer them a few free sessions........membership went up the months I trained them, lol.

The problem with a movie like this is that it leaves nothing to the imagination.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

But again, it's a Transformers movie directed by Michael Bay. You know what you're getting with Transformers, and you know what you're getting with Michael Bay. There were no surprises in this movie on either one.

Imagine Michael Bay directing a Transformers movie, and this movie is exactly what you get.

It's like Ewe Boll directing a video game adaptation. But what leg do I have to stand on? I watch some the schlockiest movies on the planet.

I just got back from Imax theater in Bensalem. I found the movie to be as good as the first one. Basically just kept the story moving forward.

Yeah there was some parts that could have been edited out, cut back on the sillyness but even with that I still found the movie to be very good.

The video and audio quality of the Imax theater was truly breath taking. The calibration was dead on. Once in awhile I felt the subs where hitting a bit hard but for the scene it made sense. The clarity out of the rear channels and the blending of the fronts was awesome. I noticed now surround back channels spaced out like if it where a dedicated channel instead of a 6th channel. I wonder how many movies are actually recorded in 8 channels??? I gotta brush up on that.

Meagan looked incredible and so did the Transformer Chick. I kinda suspected something like that , cool idea posing as a human. Shame as she was pretty damn hot. I think that was the idea.

Can't wait for the Blu ray.

I was entertained! Lots of action and even with the scenes trying to build the story it didn't really slow down the action much. I love the little interjections of humor. Personally, I don't want an action movie to be even close to reality, I prefer to be removed from reality when I watch a move. I think this will be fantastic on BD.

I'm not sure why anyone would expect Oscar winning performances. I just wanna see some robots kick a$$ with a couple of hot babes thrown in. Now that's entertainment!
