I am curious, and not to pass any judgement whatsoever, but what is it about Oink receivers that seem to make polkies go gaga? I thought Denon sounds better att he same price point, with Polk speakers, excluding LSis. Just wondering.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Sound quality. I went to a local hifi store and demoed Onkyo, Denon, and Yamaha AVR's and the Onkyo sounded the best.

If you like bright receivers, I agree. But Yamaha to me sounds very similar. I'm a Denon or Marantz guy myself. But the O definitely is a good quality receiver! I install more of those than probably anything and they hold up.

No, I don't like bright receivers. However, the Onkyo sounded good to me.

They are built incredibly well too.
