I guess i opened a can of worms a few days ago. I was actually banned for using profanity. I mean I see other people use profanity on here, but i get banned because im am a, qutote.... noob. I didnt even get a warning. They just banned me for 7 days. +No one said "hey you need to take that down." They just went straight for the big guns and gave me a 7 day ban. Everywhere you go, noobs get pushed around by the insecure older people. the older people act like its their territory and that the noob is somehow transgressing just by being thereor by responding to at thread. They act like the noobs have entered some sort of territorial pissing ground. i mean whats up with that? Reminds me of military school. me and my classmates got hazed when we were freshmen. our senior year, my friends hazed all of the new kids, because it was a tradition. i never participated because i remember how bad i hated it when i was in their shoes. whats up with people now days?

    I'd say a 7-day ban IS a warning.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Yeah I was invited to be in a band in college. Guys on my dorm floor were putting together enough songs, they wanted me to be lead singer. But they were locked on the name **** de Milo and wouldn't budge. I said I wouldn't sing lead with a bunch of Penuses.

From seven days to permanent...if you keep it up.

No matter to me though...because the ignore feature is a wonderful thing....bye.

I too am a newb here, but i fail to see how your return from a seven day ban is helping the group/community... perhaps a self imposed permanent ban could be beneficial however...
as with all groups , if you are fortunate enough to be a part of something remember that it is bigger than just you, and your presence in it should enhance and improve the group's function rather than focus on you. if you become the focus its called cancer and should be removed

Your villiage did call looking for you while you were gone, it seems the other idiot in town expired after he conducted a lengthy search looking for a penny in the corner of a round room.

They would like to leave here and return immediately.

    Goodbye.

Lemme think, and perhaps I'm just spitballing here......let's say you have a guy with a few years on the forum, perhaps given away a few karmas, given some killer deals on gear...perhaps GIVEN some gear away, participated in or hosted a Polk Fest......and then you have somebody with a few posts and most of them are of little to no use other than inflammatory BS.

Anyone want to hazard a guess who gets a little more latitude??

I am suprised they even gave the second chance.

You have what 50 something posts and get banned for 7 days and then com back complaining you weren't warned when you were.

If it was the forum I moderate you would have been gone before the 7 day ban.

If you could curb your mouth like most of us do you would be fine.
