They really were a looker! nicer looking that the speakers that replaced them.

The first shot was taken on a Canon T2i and 50mm 1.8.

The last two were shot on a 5D Mark II and 24-70 2.8 MKI

Don't own any of that photo gear any more. Photography upgraditis is worse than audio =)

    LSi9s with maple side panels.

I have secret evil plans for my 9s that involve a similar swap (but a far more exotic wood)

The maple sided LSi9s still look great! They definately stand out from stock. I look forward to your evil plans pictures. I am hoping to hide my evil plan upgrade inside:smile::mrgreen:

will also have to watch for DSkip's teaser..

Yeah I've spent quite a bit more on photography that I have audio/video/HT gear.

The two hobbies tend to go hand in hand, IMO, as they both involve capturing a moment (auditory and/or visual), and recreating the experience in a way that's as authentic as possible. The difference with photography is that its something that can be shared and appreciated by others. Being an audiophile is somewhat of a lonely hobby lol
