    I drove to a store and bought a new chair for the Shed.

    Ebay=0
    Paypal=0

    Store +1

    RT1=:)

    extra fees for service suck
    talk about a bunch of pantyloaded corporate asshats

    8.3% sales tax here on anything ya buy cept for clothing.
    There is even so many cents per gallon state tax on gas here!
    Can't remember if it's 4 or 8 cents a gallon.

    NY'ers get screwed.

    Come down to the Island, IIRC, it's 8.75% in Nassau and 8.6X% in Suffolk.

    i guess i don't care because i rather get paid or pay using PP for obvious reasons. but if this is the case they should reduce all the fees drastically.

    Possible but I doubt it. QVC is all about shipping products and they are huge, yet they still use UPS. I think UPS even had a sub base at QVC.

    6% in PA (7% in NJ and Phila)--Gas tax is probably in every state-of course it varies.
    I'm only about 13 miles from Delaware-That's where I go for my tax free big ticket purchases.

    We're not a whole lot better in L.A. if you want to buy at a store: 8.25% sales tax and traffic to get stuck in so that your MPG plummets from 30 to 20 in minutes. At least gas prices have come down from $4+ to $2.15 for regular. If you look at it that way, the biggest pain with eBay & PayPal, when compared to store shopping, is not the charges, but the cost of return shipping if an item were faulty and had to be sent back. Maybe eBay owning its own shipping could help with that, to ease the pain and encourage buying, but they don't seem to have done much with Skype thus far.
