I don't know. The more I think about it. I don't think I would want them back if they sold. I'm not one to buy back gear. I usually just move on.. Which is what I would prefer to do with these. Sell them and move on.
Besides. As soon as I get my PJ I will be moving things back out to the living room. And they sound like **** out there for some reason. And I once again won't want them.
Honestly I wish I could just keep the system I have in the bedroom, in the bedroom. And build a new system for the living room. If the speakers don't sell and times get better. That might be just what I do.
I am getting more enjoyment out of the bedroom rig right now. Than I have out of any other rig I have ever owned... Plus I have a PS3, four movies and a game showing up Wendsday to add to the enjoyment...
Its so bizarre. Its like the room and equiptment just work perfect together. Its sounds phenomenal IMO.
Can't wait for the PS3 to get here so I can get my game on. With no work I have nothing but time. I plan on logging some major game time.:D

If you want a pair of MMG's, start saving for a sub."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Nic --
Just keep 'em. If you're enjoying them in the bedroom, that's where they should stay. Later on do the XO upgrade. Then go ahead and build your dream system in the living room when times get better. End of story.
I've sold gear because I needed the money, then a few weeks later when finanical conditions improved, I bought more expensive stuff to replace it. In the end, you'll be losing money which defeats the purpose of the sale.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Nick,
Keep the Lsi9s. You won't like the MMGs as much as the 9s. The MMGs will only leave you wanting more . . . which is the whole point of the speaker (admittedly from Magnepan).
From what it sounds like anyway, you are going to spend just as much money buying new gear after selling the 9s. What are you saving then?
From one sufferer of upgraditis to another . . . stop making horizontal upgrades!!!! (or downgrades with MMG or RtiA6). Sit tight. Wait for the finances to improve. Selling the 9s and buying the new speakers sets you up for greater debt! If you are going to upgrade, then do it right. Save some cash. Enjoy what you have now, THEN make a big upgrade. A BIG upgrade that doesn't leave you wondering which attributes of the sound has improved, but how the entire speaker now excels beyond anything that has graced you room. You need decisive upgrades, not tweaks.
Get on it! -
Nick I know I am sounding like a broken record, but at least just do the smaller caps with Dayton's. It is like a whole new speaker. Not much money needed. Kinda reminds me of when the Grinch's heart grew three sizes that day.Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

I had a cabinet maker make them... You might be able to find somebody local that could do it for you.
My dad was having a house built so I was fortunate enough to get to meet the guy that did the cabinets for the house. He said he could make them no problem. I'm sure you could probably find somebody to do the same... Shouldn't be too expensive either. I think I paid some where around $50-$100 to have them made. He also glued them to the speaker with some kind of super strong adhesive.....
