Nice grab Ethan! I hope you have a truck or full size van to get them home. I want to hear your review of them after you get them set up as I have never heard them before either.

I would think they have replacements, just hope they all don't "go" at once, you will go broke!

Plus, the manual isn't available...anyone have it in pdf format? The connections seem pretty straight forward, but the Control Center is where I would like to read up. I'm assuming the SDA mode is only for music/2 ch mode? Off during 5.1 tracks right?

Yep, I'm not going to sleep at all this week. :D

Is there any harm laying them on their sides with a lotta blankets, padding, etc? Thinking about laying them on their sides, subs with a lot of padding in between and then the sats also on their sides laying on the subs. Grilles of of course. I measured out my Toyota Sequoia...looks like they'll fit per the measurements given. The thought of those riding in the bed of a truck scares me.

No harm will come to them if you lay them on their sides.
Make sure you remove the grills. The grills are very fragile and can break.
They're extremely fragile. You can break them if you don't handle them gently even while removing them.

The SRT's I just received didnt have one broken grill in the set....the set I looked at in Reno had maybe 60 or 70% of the grill posts broken off.

I will treat them with kid gloves getting them to my house.

I was wondering who bought them. I was in Mount Vernon on Monday and called Rex, but he said he had them sold. Just got back today. I guess I should have checked this posting this morning before I left. Ethancf - If it's any consolation I used to work at MPC. Word is they're laying off 25% of the workforce tomorrow. Yeah, I'm one of the lucky ones that didn't get hit in the recent HP layoffs. Boise is going to get spooky if things keep declining at this rate. The IT industry is so shaky right now.

Well, I'm heading up tonight to go and get these things............lol...........

I have zero need for them atm, but I want to get them while I can and funds are available to do so with them being relatively close.

I have to get hold of Rex to confirm exactly where I'm going, but I talked to him twice today and told him I was just ironing out the details but would be getting back to him (which I couldn't do all afternoon).

Anyways, I'm heading a few hundred miles up right now and will sleep for a bit in the car then call Rex to confirm exactly where these things are.

(I know, it's insane to be starting a 900 mile road trip without having confirmed with the guy.........)
