Those were posted about two months ago and apparently didn't sell. It's a good price since it's the complete system, but I guess not a time when people are will to spend that. I REALLY wish I had the funds...

I seen them and my heart went thump-a-thump. Now if I did buy them then I would have to figure out where to live. WAF is very low about my HT gear.

I remember there was an Audio Trade show at the Raleigh Convention center back when the Polk SRT was unveiled. The show was hosted by Now Audio & Video, now known as Tweeter.

Polk had sent out "special" invitations to registered Polk customers for the private unveiling and listening to the new SRT system in a designated convention room. Matthew Polk and partners were on hand to personally show off the beast. They played various samples of music and there was a limited amount of 5.1 anamorphic DVD media at the time but they had the movie Outbreak (can't remember if DVD or LD). The helicopter chase scene in the river bed was my first experience with 5.1. and is was pretty impressive. That SRT system made any sonic presentation or system sound and look like a pocket transistor radio.

    I later bought LS90's, LS/FX,CS350.

SRT's are SDA's in 2 channel, and have 5.2 in one package. $2000 for a full working setup. Run don't walk;)
    Ben
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

If these were on the east coast they would be mine and I would be a single man.:D Seriously someone should snatch these up at that price. Full sets are hard to come by.

Timing is everything...you can look around forever for a deal like this, but it's either in another part of the country or you can't move on it. It's definitely priced to sell.

    Just do it!

I thought the same thing when i got mine.... Make the first thing you play through them some of wifeys music and let the SRT weave their magic. My wife told me after the first decent listening session (letting her choose the music), "you will NOT be selling these!".
I have mine in bits at present for a refinish, nothing but nagging, "when will they be back".... Never thought i'd see the day.
In terms of audio, i truly feel sorry for the visually impaired. How can they know what they like if they cant read google?

There is something odd about that ad. He states he has a full 5.2 system yet the picture shows 3 mains with possible bottom subs and the center only.

I will not be coming out to Polkfest this year. :( But I am wearing my Polk polo at work today! (Thanks Doro) I feel afraid that if I got a set of SRTs, I would be in the crossover rebuild mood like all the other speakers I have owned. Because if the rebuild improved the LSi sound...

So being that this is in a home theater environment with very current gear, how does the Control Center work? Is this needed in today's 5.1 setups with today's surround formats? Can I merely disconnect my current speakers and connect the SRT's? I'm novice on these, but I'm considering them.

Anyone have the specs/measurements of these?

    Thanks!

I inquired about additional pics and more details on condition, etc. and the seller replied simply, "what pictures do you want?" Either he /she was slammed with inquiries or just not a very motivated seller. I did not go any further.
