    Hello,

The more the RTiA5s break-in the better they sound.I was thinking of
    upgrading to a pair of RTiA9s. I added a small M&K 8in subwoofer that I had.

The Sound of the RTiA5s with the M&K sub,is a good combo!
    Now I have a nice Crisp top-end with a fuller bottom-end.
I think this combo will hold me until I upgrade to the RTiA9s.:)

It sure does make a difference (and a great one) when you add a fast musical sub ;)

Nice to read they are broken in , I just a bought a pair of the RTiA5 's myself , only had them two days , so mine need to eb broken in as well , salesman said at about 60 hours they would start opening up & get better from there on out , can't wait! they are a bit stiff & haesh in the hi-end now , but they still sound pretty great .

I would go with the A5's.
    Better mids
    Cheaper
Will match better with your 606.

    Hey Brain,

The A5 will be easier to drive than the A7s, you cant go wrong with
either one. Welcome to the Club.

I haven't heard transformers on my set-up yet, but I heard from a friend of mine who has a similar setup that transformers has better sound than Dark Knight. (well... in this case 'better' meaning more dynamic use of surrounds and hard hitting bass).

Gotta agree on the "too long" comment for dark knight too... I really loved the movie, but IMO it could have used some better editing and direction toward the end.

Madness. I envy your A series. I'm the proud owner of RTi8s which I'd guess have been broken in for around 50-60 hours and they sound quite nice.

You all with your.. ports and.. curves
