    Well Steve you get my Guru post:) To be honest i did a lot of research with different materials, and gages. Many many test. I guess you could call that tuning, but I don't want to sound like the snake oil companies out there. I just sent a message to another member. There are audiophiles, and audio fools;) What my main objective is is to offer a cable at a reasonable rate that really has great bang for the buck like AQ speaker wires;)
    Thanks

    I am seriously considering building a box that would incorporate a "device" that would help compensate for bad recordings.

    Kind of like an equalizer ? ;)

    Okay, here's something useful (about your cable name):

    BAg's

    B= Ben's
    Ag = Silver

    "What kind of wire you using for your speakers ?"

    "I don't use wire, I use BAg's

    All I'm going to say it's hard to pick a name. ;)

    I know for myself, and sometimes the name involves itself :)

    You will know the name when you see it, or think about it... You will know.

    Apparent Wire

    Dictionary.com gives this definition : capable of being easily perceived or understood; plain or clear; obvious: The solution to the problem was apparent to all.

    my final suggestion... deal or no deal? ;)

    good luck Ben. I know you'll make the best choice. :)

    Well MIT has their little box. I don't know if you have been fallowing my projects, but I have been looking real hard at what is out there. What i am looking at is more of a smoothing apparatus than an EQ. It wont kill the frequency response;) It would have a switch on it (bypass)so you could still have the clean fast signal of my original wires, or switch it to smoothing mode. It would not add too much to the price. This set of cables should be installed between the pre, and amp. I have a lot of experimental stuff here at home that I play with. I stopped selling speaker cables because of synergy issues. The speaker cables worked great with some, and not very good with others. I still use them on the highs on my setup at home, but I don't want to sell something that is system dependent. I really appreciate the feedback I get from Polkies. It helps with the building of my stuff. For now I know the IC's I build work. More to come:)

    Instead of Argentum (which is Latin for silver) you could use:
    Name: Arbentum Research
    Cable: 47's (47 is the Atomic #)

    Name: Lustrous Dynamics
    Cable: AG .5,1.0 etc...(AG is the symbol for silver and .5 &1.0 are the cable lengths)

    Precision Dynamics

    Pure Benovations

    Caliber Concepts

    Sir Cobbleworth's Audio Elixir of Yore
    I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

    Yes sir! It's very nice for running my little monitors, and listening to the radio. My big setup is overkill for background music;) The big setup can raise the room temp by almost 10 degrees:eek:
