I'll stick with my earlier thought of Silver Streak or Silver Strand Cables. Having Silver in the name is key part of the advertising. Good luck making the choice Ben. Personally, I have a hard time simply naming the pets, having to wait until their personality shines through.

Now this was uncalled for. If you don't think cable makes a difference, fine. I respect other peoples opinions. But your comment here is unnecessary.

It was just a name suggestion. Does this mean I don't win?:(

The Silver Edition "Difference Makers". "Difference Makers" is the name of the product and these are your "Silver Edition" version. Leaves room for other materials and reinforces that your cables will make a difference.

Contest over. Can I substitue one of those pre-amps for the cables?

    or 'Silver Polkies'
Or another like "Fancy Catch Phrase BC" (Inlcude the 'BC')
    Or simply The BC's
Or "We tried to come up with a fancy catchphrase but realized they didn't need it so we just called them Ben's Cables" (Yes the whole string) ;)

It's kinda funny you mentioned the "tuned" name. Like a lot of upgrades my cables are very revealing. Good recordings sound awesome. Like the inhale when singers are taking a breath, sliding fingers on stringed instruments, but this can also show the negative aspects of bad recordings. I am seriously considering building a box that would incorporate a "device" that would help compensate for bad recordings. Just an idea I have been playing with that would help. I have a cheap system I listen to bad recordings on to kinda "smear" the compression in some recordings. I know that description sounds bad, but some recordings really should not be looked at under a microscope:eek:
