Seriously I can't figure out where the ignore feature is:confused:
Never used it in 5000+ post.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Sorry to hear that. I noticed the original thread poofed btw. Hopefully this will be fixed soon and your money will arrive. One thing im pretty sure of though is if no one had stood up for you and what was right the odds of you getting your money would be nill. At least by raising a stink anyone who screws or attempts to screw someone else here will be noticed by everyone and not simply be ignored.

Thats just sad.....its not that the forum was too hard on this guy...maybe the truth is it wasnt hard enough on him if that check still hasnt arrived.

Actually what REALLY looks bad is that the seller was ripped off ( Even if by some miracle the check does come, the seller went through hell ) HERE on the Polk forum...others lurk on the forum...see that ...and come here signing up looking for an easy freebie.

Let someone from Polk step in and correct him if he's wrong. I understand the intent on trying to help someone that's getting incorrect information........but send them a PM or something giving them the correct information so you aren't responding to him in a thread that WILL get locked.
This forum has done well self policing itself, but it appears that has changed lately. I'm sure Justin and the other moderators have better things to do but constantly correct others or lock down threads, but it appears that's the way it's going to have to be.

One other thing to add to the general discussion, has anyone else noticed that the most knowledgeable and helpful posters have been much less active or have dropped off the face of the earth lately?

Catering to a small percentage of crybabies and trouble makers who offer nothing to Polk will just continue this trend.

Really? I haven't noticed all that many members disappearing.

Every forum I have belonged to changes members over time, for many reasons. Some get busy with other things, some lose interest, some move on to other forums or hobbies.

If some members have left, it's pretty foolish to think that you know why. Maybe they left because of the very things Justin pointed out. Maybe they tired of the old members behavior, and no longer wish to be part of it.

The longer I just stay out of these threads the more nausiated I get when the newbie comes in with hat in hand and backtracks or sweetens the story his or her way . . . remember Sona?. . . ah what the hell, this place has become so effing boring and politically correct that I want to throw up half the time I read some of this crap.

Why is it that 20 guys are wrong and a trouble-maker or jackasses (and you know who you are) get the nod from the mods to keep it up 'cause if the the 20 "mob" guys keep it up they are going to get banned.

THERE IS NO MOB . . . there is however a whole slew of guys who care about the CLUB MEMBERS and not the fly-by-nighters.

Excuse me while I puke on my keyboard.

You need me to hold your hair, Joe?
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

However, I could use a shiteload of q-tips to clean the nooks and crannies on my keyboard.

It's good to see you posting Jason!!!!;)

Well, if nothing else, this thread has allowed the opportunity to say:

Nice to hear from Mr HI.
Keep pluggin' and chuggin' and don't blow a gasket over .... stuff.

Also nice to see that Brettw22 was able to make it to the local Pony Express Depot out there in Utah (or wherever he has to go for Internet connection)
    to post some excellent advice.

The key to keeping the boat afloat right now is, IMO, not unlike the title to the 1958 movie starrring Clark Gable and Burt Lancaster ..... "Run Silent, Run Deep".

    Fly below the radar.

I think it was this thread where someone (Face?) was referring to the regulars not posting frequently anymore. You guys were a couple of the names going through my head.
