I'm still trying to imagine how a crossover network issue could cause "floppy" bass. Come to think of it, I don't even know what the engineering term floppy bass means. Doesn't sound like tight distortion free bass, with lots of resolution of subtleties of instrumentation.George / NJ

Room is small like 8x 15. So it's like a tunnel.
In this room tweeters are even brighter.
Ear's age that thought these speakers are too bright are 25-35 years old.
I saw some posts by kenschwauger or something. It's seems like he is god allmighty around here. Balanced and wise. Definitely educated and knowledgeable compare to some passionate emotionally rather than science driven arguers
Is he around
Do you think he would know approximately efficiency if these tweeters ,power handling capacity
There are a multitude of reasons the top end can come across as bright. It could be your source, cables, room, the caps you used, etc., but I guarantee it's not the RD0194 tweeters. If anything, they are a bit on the mellow side.Political Correctness'.........defined

Tweeter personification?
That's a first.
Is that a first?
I think that is a first. -
Maybe the tweeter self identifies as a dude...The Gear... So even more legal than some . I hope tweeter didn't get offended or discriminated if I used the pronoun not of his /hers/zers choice of identity.
French is my best language after English and I figured it was a masculine/feminine noun thing, but wasn't sure. Just a little bit of friendly ribbing. -

How much break-in time? When I replaced the SL-3000 with RD0198 and upgraded the XOs in my RTA11TL's they were initially harsh. I could almost hear them smooth out as I listened. I have notices this with other speakers that I upgraded too.Stan
