    Congrats on the mammoth sub.

    And to defend me --

I only sold my subs because they were HUGE, and in my small room, they really messed with the overall clarity of the soundstage...

Otherwise, I would still have them.

not any more...the jugs contain a special viscoelastic fluid that dampens any vibration that improves soundstage 110% :D

    j/k - they are anti-cat devices...:o

Nice system! I'm gonna guess the jugs up there because you saw kitty doing cat catapult calculus. Where they size up how much propulsion they're going to need to just make it on top :D

I think you should put little streamers on the ports like some stores put on the fans they are selling. Then you could SEE all that movement.

    Welcome to Club Polk.

You will get alot more answers if you start your own thread and ask any questions you have. People looking at the Conquest may be so stunned it could be hard for them to think about interconnects.... :)

To start your own thread, just go into the forum area relating to your question and click the blue "post new thread" button near the top on the left side.

kitty crawl in port, kitty get blown out port. LOL

Actually this sort of happened to me once, minus the blown out part. I was listening to some music cranked up and noticed between a track this really sad "heeelp meeeow" coming from some mysterious place in the room.

So I turned it down and tracked it to coming from the port on a 15" subwoofer. I removed the driver and had to detangle kitty from the wiring to get her out. I don't think she ever crawled into the sub again after that.

   ...poor kitty

maybe makers of subs with big ports should put a net in the back of the port to prevents kittens/cats..squirrels..ferrets.hamsters, tortoise or what ever household pets from going in :)

All the Epiks are huge...check the Castle and Towers dims.

    26x18x26
    27x20x30

    Conquest is 36x22x30

They all take up quite a bit of floor. The height of the Conquest can be an issue too. Many are putting them on their sides, it seems to couple with the floor better for a flatter FR in some rooms.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE
