    1st impressions - 1st class craftsmanship! nice rounded corners, paint is flawless, very solid heavy feel...tried pushing on the woofer, doesnt move easily

    Put cat in front of sub...demo WOTW at reference level...kitty never goes near ports again. I've got 4 cats and no problems :).

    It looks impressive - how does it sound? I am sure it is killer for movies, but how is the music performance? What is the size of your room and how does it compare to the 3 polk subs?

    from the brief listening, did not crank it up b/c its late...this sub will do equally well for music and ht! i was expecting it to be sluggish, its not ;)

    room is 20x20, there is a 1/2 wall on the right side of the room opening to the kitchen, which is another 25x10

    this sub goes deep deep down effortlessly :eek:

    Chad is extremely proud of that sub. The 70lb driver is really overbuilt for that amp. It's an efficient design. The driver can handle 3000w, but it would be too expensive to source that much amp. 1000w is plenty to acheive massive decibels, but the amp will quit before the driver does. The only issues I've heard about is the amp going into protection when overdriven, usually north of 120dbs.

    SlowcarIX, you're going to have to give us a more detailed review when you have the time.:D
