That's too bad. I agree SVS makes great subs, but I don't think I'd wait that much. Plenty of other options out there.

Unfortunately, if your buying ID, most have a wait currently. You might be able to get a Valor by the end of the month or check local dealers for a used Velo SPL1200R. Also, if you can build a box the Rythmik Servo 12 kit is a stellar sub (in fact they might be offering a boxed version now too)... www.rythmikaudio.com

edit: just checked they are not selling the finished units yet.

    Combo rig:

Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
    PB13Ultra RO
    BW Silvers
    Oppo BDP-83SE

Thanks guys. Im most likely going to walk into the local tweeter and pick up a DSW for now. Maybe once the ID guys get over their supply issues Ill look back to them. I'm just tired of my incomplete setup.

Supply chain management is a pretty important issue when you are using JIT inventory mgt to drive a web direct business model. I don't blame you for being frustrated. I wouldn't of had that much patience.

They said they were expecting amps this week. But they told me that last week. So I'm done with SVS for now.

Get what you want, just don't settle on any sub. There are a lot of subs in this category.

    Good Luck,

Id love a velodyne SPL-1200R, but they are more than I'm willing to spend right now.

I see you're located outside of Philly...where at exactly. I'm in Magnolia, NJ & you might want to check with Stephen at Quest for Sound in Bensalem. That's where I frequent (bought & sold a lot of gear there) & picked up my SPL-1200R. Stephen's a great guy to deal with & you'll really enjoy a visit to his place. What exactly is the budget you're working with? I just might have an SVS 25-31plus cylinder sub for sale shortly.

Thanks, but I don't like the look of the cylinder subs.

get a used one till they have your SVS back in stock in a couple month's. that's better than going without one till then. although they don't come up for sale very often. look at Craigslist. that's where I got mine a couple years ago. Worked fine. but I decided to turbo power it by replacing the driver with a used SVS 12.2 driver..

it's sweet.. total cost to me was like $225 for the Adire Audio subwoofer and a used SVS 12"

    it's big.. 22"x22"x22"

Well, I ended up picking up a Martin Loagan Abyss for now. Tweeter had them on clearance.
