I do understand that people can't understand Sunfire subs, they are very small, how can they produce that much bass?, Plus a lot of people don't want to spend $1800 for a sub.

But if you never felt one in a system you should not laugh, ask anybody that came to my little gathering, my room was shaking from that little 12" box I have on my floor.

the walls and floor boards were vibrating. There's 2700 watts in my sub.

I'd bet money that I've probably heard a couple in my travels.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Walls and floor boards vibrating? How about your pant legs flapping, your vision blurring, and you have to vacuum the room after the movie because the white crap from the ceiling fell off. That's what my sub does:D

The website is wrong. I talked to a guy at SVS 3 times and he said it will be another 2 weeks before they ship. I'm not waiting any longer than those 2 weeks.

Tell them you don't want to wait and see if they will knock off $100 of the plus/2. No waiting, plus a bigger badder sub.

    Another vote for HSU!!!!

I have a VTF2 Mk3 in a fairly large room with 2 openings to other areas, and it's placed in a not so perfect location, and it rocks!!! I can't see anything touching it in this $500 price-point.

The finish is similar to SVS's NDS series. Put it in a corner somewhere or throw a table cloth over it, you'll never notice it.

SVS' also make for very nice flower basket stands. :D

And they sound pretty good, too, even though that's secondary

Make sure you use a heavy flower pot though. :D

I'd opt for the sub over the **** any day. Aesthetically they might be equal but by the time you factor in the odor the sub would win every time.:D

It's going to be tough to beat the SVS SB12+ at it's price point. It's an extremely competent sub for both HT and music, and is fantastic if you have a pretty even mix of those two. For HT in a small room or when you need a small sub it's going to really suprise you. It will kill the ML Grotto, and gets you more than 80% of the way to the performance of a REL Storm III. It has extremely good bass SQ, and holds its own against the SVS PB-10 ISD for HT, not quite as deep and not quite as loud, but much better SQ.

How do I know ......... because I actually own one

Make sure you get a shirt! I've bought 3 subs from them and no f'ing shirt. Put me in the dissatisfied SVS customer column, what the hell is great bass if I can't listen to it while wearing an SVS shirt. F'ing cheapskates. I'm buying some cheapass piece of sh$t REL or Martin Logan sub next.

    ;)

I called again today, just because I have nothing better to do on my day off. He checked(again) and I'm first in line for the Piano Black. Still expecting the amps(not cabinets, they have those) to be in next week. If they get them in the morning it ships out that evening. So...yeah.
