    I had lunch with Al Ballard and Len Shufelt today, mainly to meet Len for the first time....and realize we had already met once before...although it was in passing. We ignored Al the entire lunch and just talked about booze, women and the suprising ease of which you may navigate around the Parts Express website.

    You guys are gonna love this dude....the volume knob for Polkfest has officially been turned up to 11. If you car audio guys actually show up, you have a fellow 12v nutcase in your camp :) (That emoticon was for you Len)
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    I think back to PF05 not to many mobile audio peeps showed up because it was the same weekend as some other "more" important event competition. I don't understand it.. but whatever floats your boat. ;)

    Hopi Nationals, IIRC. FWIR, alot of their installers weren't there because of it, and Justin showed us the 12V shop. Mac showed, Jstas, and a couple others....

    Exactly Al!

    I booked my tickets back in June just to make sure I got a seat.

    People are booking 2-3 months early because the planes are filling up very fast & it cuts down on the expense of the seats.

    Booked mine a couple of months ago and the next best flight now is $300+. Never understood why anyone would not book the flight seeing the fuel charges we are currently facing.

    I think the room you have much more time to wait on that.. Oct is out of the tourist season.. and hotels will be looking to fill rooms.. hence a better price. :)
