Anyone here ever gone on one of these? Went on my first one ever and it went fantastic. A bit ackward at first but that went away quickly!

Was alot of fun and a 2nd night out already scheduled! Finally something is going right for a change on the meeting new women page.

Oh, we got set up through a friend of mine who is her aunt, well worth it.

I'm beyond excited right now.....I can't wait for this week to go by.

:p:D:p:D:p

Went on one a little over ten years ago. I guess it went pretty well, we've been married over seven years and we've got two little boys.

One of my longtime (female) friends had previously tried to set me up with friends of hers, and I'd always declined. For whatever reason, I was up for it when she asked again with a woman she worked with, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Best of luck to you on your next date!

Glad to hear it went well for some people out there.

I've never been on one... chances are, never will. However, if it comes up, at least I'll have confidence in the knowledge that it went well for some people I read about on the internet, who I never met.

I've never been on one, never will either. Only cause I'm happily married.

I'm glad you had a great time. Did you guys say"I'll be the one wearing a red shirt.."type thing....So that when you got there you'd see her and could turn around if it wasn't what you wanted.

My then future sister-in-law set up my older brother on a blind date over 16 years ago. It was kind of a group outing so I was there also. My bro's blind date and I pretty much hit it off and we'll be celebrating our 15th anny. in February.

I went on a blind date back in spring of 1984 with a gal going to Texas Tech University in Lubbock TX, things went very well and she even asked me to marry her. I had an assignment to report to Incirlik AB in Turkey that fall; it was a bit too much too fast so we didn't get married and I went solo. Beware! ;)
