    Clarifications . . .

First: "My 2-Channel Dream Complete" - I gave no indication with this statement that it sounded good. I was merely speaking of the system's potential.

Second: You conveniently left out "for now" - I gave no indication nor am I bound by any statute that determine the duration of "for now"

Third: I'm still reeling from the fact that my brother had the gumption and the audacity to compare his Bose cardboard boxes to my crappy sounding system.

    Hehe.
~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~

    I'll kill you . . .

The A-100 couldn't run my AZAs! I doubt they can push the gallos.

Why do you keep talking about the 3.1s?

    These are my new speakers:

You dropping 18k on the 5LS?

Actually the Trio was a pretty good mate with the 3.1s, I had one in my system for a month or so before I moved up to some nicer icepower units. Last I heard Anthony Gallo himself uses a Spectron Musician III, a nice digital amp.

I never mated the Trio with a Gallo, but it did very well with the Lsi15 and seemingly well with the AZA, but once I hooked a Khartago from Odyssey up to the AZA . . . well then I knew what music could be. AZA and Trio do not match well . . . Ironically, I bought the AZA at PS Audio's recommendation for their Trio.

Sweet. But I think you are going to need a few more amps as those have 4 speaker posts each...:)

I was going to say Gaara ran the Trio with the 3.1's. I have not tried it and only use it for my surrounds (Gallo Dues from Garra).

I'm just going to splice the speaker cales and put them in the back of my Monos. I think they are 2 ohm stable.

No wonder you wanted a sub... I would have gone with the 3.1s myself. This is Gallos more HT approach. You want 2 channel bliss right?

If you can get the 3.1s in your house to try out I would strongly suggest it. They are amazing speakers. If I could afford them, they would be in my livingroom. I have never heard such open and spacious music, that tweeter is a dream and the side firing woofer can really dig deep, I wouldn't feel the need for a sub.

I'm hoping the same. And by all accounts with the extra sub amp, it's basically like 2 subs.

I tried several subs recently and integration was never perfect.

haha, I thought you were serious, I mean... audiophiles are weird aren't we? It is hard to tell sometimes when people spend gobs of money on pebbles and phone teleportation tweaks.
