I had to go to the only authorized dealer in Austin TX (Mesa Home Systems) in 2002 or so (before Fry's had them) and paid over $1600+ for my 15's. Sold them for $850 local pickup about a year ago. Yeah, $199 each?? Not a happy camper. Although I did enjoy them for many years....

Why should I pay retail on my next Polk purchase? Anyone?

    $199.00

I just spoke with two different reps at Polk.

They've assured me that Polk is NOT releasing a new LSi line any time soon.

Fry's is liquidating their inventory and will no longer carry that line of Polk speakers.

Anytime I hear that all I can think of is this:

Jules: Nobody's gonna hurt anybody. We're gonna be like three little Fonzies here. And what's Fonzie like? Come on Yolanda what's Fonzie like?
    Yolanda: Cool?
    Jules: What?
    Yolanda: He's cool.
Jules: Correctamundo. And that's what we're gonna be. We're gonna be cool. Now Ringo, I'm gonna count to three, and when I count three, you let go of your gun, and sit your **** down. But when you do it, you do it cool. Ready? One... two... three.

Kotter bunch! Mark, weren't you like in cub scout when the series came out? :)
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.
