I think I might buy another pair down in Austin (heading there for business tonight). I could potentially have the makings of an insane HT for my house (when I get one) for about $1000 (4 LSi15 +1 LSiC).

Wish I hadn't sold that LSiC recently.

The only LSi15's I've seen at the local Fry's are the beaten up demo models. Great snatch if you can find a new one in a box.

Frys dont ship (and dont even bother try calling because you'll just a simple no). However, you might want to go into the local store and really have the sales person look. I called my local frys and they said there were none left. When I went in person, the guy looked into the system (he went into a few sub menu) and found 3 of them in stock (2 left brand new, 1 right open box).

I just opened my right channel "open box" and it's in brand new condition. Honestly, I think the guy who returned this never even hooked it up because all the wrapping, tissue, etc was still attached to the speaker (and I didnt see any fingerprints). Anyways, I'll see tonight when I try to hook it up.
There's still right channel left in my local frys.

    Good luck

I just got back from Frys in Las Vegas. Polk LSI15s have been "red tagged" and are on sale for $199 each. I went in hopes of snagging the LSiFX for cheep. They only had one pair of the LSiFX, and wanted close to MSRP ($899) for them. They also did not carry the LSiC, but the LSi bookshelf speakers were on display at regular prices....which is comical gven the LSi15 price. Talk about loss leaders.....

I called all the people I knew who might care about this deal, but I dont think they'll bite. I even tried to turn on another customer who appeared to be interested in tower speakers to them. I'll be honest: I am bothered that these speakers went on sale for practicaly free.

But who should I be mad at? Frys, Polk, myself, or no one?
Do you hear that buzzing noise?

Yea, i was trying to find some in Houston the last week in december, and none of the stores had them. Called all three stores multiple times. Finally ended up getting some cherry 25's.

I was able to get in on this deal at Fry's. It was a real headache but got it done. My local store, Atlanta, only had one black left side in stock and one cherry right. After really working the salesman, he located a black right side in Indiana, called the store and got it shipped in. That store made a mistake and sent a set of cherry which was fine with me since I like the cherry better. Now I need a deal on a center channel speaker.

They shipped to the store, not to me. Maybe I just got lucky? Isn't the Lsi15 discontinued? Wouldn't that explain Fry's blowing them out?
