Last night I fell asleep in the Shed listening to Meatloaf bash out Bat out of Hell at about 90 db. I fear the end is very near for me.......

I am still as good once as I ever was.

Norah is the only woman I ever heard say Light Bulb and make it sound sexy.

Norah can sing me to sleep any night. Wonderful voice. SACD of "Come Away With Me" makes me melt. Dead sexy baby!

Norah is a weekly singer in my rig.

I liked the first Norah Jones album...the second one, not so much.

If female vocalists are your thing, check out Jennifer Warnes...good voice AND good material.

But I agree, she does have a sexy voice. I imagine her to be a very sweet young lady in person.

I remember reading a Rolling Stone interview with her and she actually dropped some 'F' bombs among some other colorful words. I was a bit surprised.

I find "Not Too Late" a bit slow for my taste. I prefer her two previous albums, Come Away with Me and Feels Like Home. For a different spin on Norah, try Peter Malick's "New York City" featuring Norah Jones. This is Norah singing Blues/pop before her mega-star Come Away with Me album. Basically, the story goes that Malick heard Jones singing at some local coffee shop and thought her voice would be great with Blues. She, however, wasn't comfortable with Blues since she prefers jazz so I doubt we'll hear her sing anymore blues. Too bad.

    Highly recommended.
Let me know how you like it. Not many people know of "New York City" and I would love to hear a second opinion.

Just got the Malick CD today and I am listening to it via my Total Bithead amp and Grado SR60s.

I like it a lot. It's definitely livelier than the Norah I am used to. She should do more of this as well as her super mellow stuff.
