Good luck Troy. Dad spent a little over a year at Osan working on TR-1's back in the late 80's. I hated him having to go, but all the cheap clothes, shoes etc were kind of cool2007 Club Polk Football Pool Champ

Curious as to what your housing situation is going to be in Korea.
Do you quarter on base, or is it possible/common practice for a couple of guys to rent out a cheap house off base ?
Either way, won't you be somewhat limited on the level of gear you set up ?

No, I will live on base. I still have a house to maintain back in the states so even if I wanted to live downtown (which used to be VERY uncommon unless you brought your spouse over without command sponsorship), I couldn't afford it. Plus, everything is convenient living on base.
Now, as to the setup....as a SNCO, I get two rooms about 15x15, IIRC. One is a bedroom, the other a living/sitting room. They are both wired for US 110v electricity as well.
