Did I ever tell you guys about how I scared Wendi the last time in Korea? Well, it's her first day there and she's tired and jetlagged and still in bed. So, I come home at noon and pick up lunch and bring it back to the room. Anyway, the noon horn goes off (it just means it 1200)...anyway, the speaker is mounted right outside my window and it's louder than hell. So, Wendi's asks what the whistle is, and I'm like it's the warning siren, we are under attack! Wendi starts flipping out. REALLY flipping out. So, I just start eating a sandwich and tell here she might want to eat one too...if we get taken prisoner, we probably won't get lunch. Funny, right? Nope, she is losing her marbles. I let this go on for a good five minutes before I tell her that it was just the noon whistle. She was NOT amused.

    :D Nice save there Tony.:p

What can I tell you, I had to develop a thicker, harder, tougher, more aggressive, exterior to survive in here. Otherwise, I would have been torn to shreds by some of the fellas that objected to a woman invading what they consider to be their space!

Being kind & gentle does not mean being a doormat, which is something I never could be for anyone. Just did what I had to to survive & be a part of a great community of people that help others discover the wonder of audio!:)

I'm better off not thinking of what goes on at my house when I'm not there.

Yeah, you know...a couple months, sure, suck it up and live spartan. There is only so long that I'm going to do that ****. I'm not living like a monk for the next year and a half. Eff that. I gotta have some hifi....and I figure why not dabble with something that I haven't tried before.

Get ya one of those sexy SP3s and some nice smaller FSs or BSs. That should do ya just fine and won't break the pigy bank, too much. I've heard great things about that int. tube amp from several owners. Might try one out myself, once I get back on my feet. I'd bet at 38 wpc, it'll would be enough for those MMGs, too.

You'll also have no problem, whatsoever, in finding some really nice gear, while there, at GREAT prices.
