    Since they're now using Ford, we'll see more of the new mechanic.

    Since the new KITT is a Ford, I am hoping the new mechanic will be "the Mercury Girl". ;)

    Honestly, I don't like the choice. The original Firebird was chosen because it looked futuristic. The current Mustang is an intentionally retro design.

    I have to agree with this. Maybe they should have picked up the De Lorean that got retired from Universal City!

    Or just bought a new one. They're making them, again. A guy who had been working on them for a long time bought a warehouse full of parts, bought the name, and is cranking them out again. They're something like $60k.

    That's a lot of change for a heavy car with fragile accessories and a tiny French engine.

    It sure is. I sat in one once. I was too tall to feel comfortable (I'm 6'2, which is not exactly huge these days) so it seemed like I had to pull my head down before I could close the gull wing door. Wasn't that engine turbo-charged ...?

    The Delorean was an ugly car then, and certainly an ugly car now..........what a waste of time/money.......i can only see people wanting the nostalgic angle, but i wouldn't spend 60k on a memory of a piece of ****............but that's just me

    I never thought of it as an ugly car, at least in the context of being designed around 1980. I think the mechanical details could have been done much better.

    Exactly. People aren't buying it for the comfort, reliability, or performance. Just for the nostalgia/collector's value, whether real or perceived. And I've never thought of it as an ugly car, either. Different, certainly, but definitely very cool.

    Saw one parked in the school parking lot one day. I HAD to go look at it. A very cool car, despite its many problems.

    Let's see.... 1.21 GW from a 12V battery.

    P = IV

    1210000000 = (i)*12

    I = 100,833,333 Amps.

    Boy I hope you have some heavy gauge wire in there.

    Well, as you've already proven, you're not their target market. So I don't think they really care what you'd say. :p:)

    I'm not cool with the new car choice. You can't even do switch to something else. That sucks ****.
    I really like the new Mustang but as said, it's retro not future style. The camaro is also a bad choice, they would have to release another Banshee or new Trans am non retro style like the one thats been talked about.

    I'm sure the show will suck. Wonder Women is ok at best but I don't watch it.
