Would they fit with a little modification? None of the speakers in my car were direct replacements, I had to make MDF mounts to get them to fit. The front OEM speaker mounts could not hold the mids, and rear speaker mount were made for 5 1/4" speakers. I now have 6 3/4" speakers all around.

I would seriouly look into trying to get those SR's to fit. They are a very nice sounding set of speakers.

    it seems like they are..

i would buy the SR Sub first, and maybe for the next year at least one set of SR6500, those are pretty expensive, but those are on my next mods.

i will put some pics of my car when i put the sub and new amp.

and the SR6500 are better than the Infinity kappa perfect, and the focal?

here in mexico all the people in SQ buy focal, but those are french and i dont like french products also are too expensive and too big for my accord

I'd take SRs over anything offered by Infinity. As a former Infinity owner, I'm glad I got rid of them. Focal makes some very nice speakers, and I won't knock the product- I like them. Focals can have some issues when installed in certain ways that make the high frequency response a little bit harsh, so you have to take that into consideration when mounting the tweeters. I'll just say that the SRs have a much smoother sound in the high frequency department yet still have a lot of detail, and that was the deal-maker for me.

The SR's will smoke anything in the Infinity line.

As for the Focals, if you compare the SR's to a comparable line of Focals like the K2P then the SR's are just as good. Neither are really better IMO.

The Focals have punchier midbass but are a little too bright for my tastes. The SR's lack the punch but have good energy in the midbass but the upper midrange and highs are so smooth and natural and thats the sound I prefer so Id take the SR's.

Best to listen to them both as theyre both excellent speakers and see which ones appeal best to what you like to hear and the type of music you listen to most.

Woow that means that those worth any dollar you spend...

i listen a lot of classical, jazz and electronic music (trance and psico).

i will start to save money for those SRs at least for the front ones..
