SL 6502 Tweeter replacement.

Can anyone advise if the SL6510 tweeter is a viable replacement for the SL6502 on my RT55 speakers?

    I ordered a 6502 replacement: a 6511 is what was shipped.

    It has a dark colored dome instead of the light silver color. I also noticed that you can twist the tweeter away from the clips in the plastic surround that houses the dome. I am not sure if it is a good idea to do this or if you are risking any damage, but it would mean that if you prefer the original silver appearance, you might be able to switch the old dome and plastic surround onto the new tweeter ...
