So I go into the Bank , which I have been going to for much longer than all but 1 or 2 people there, And while standing in line to deposit the money from the Boat sale (all friggen 20`s), the nice lady says to me, ...she say`s...
"can you take off your hat , and glasses"?

Knopw I realize they have been robbed twice this year, but they all know mw real well....
and she then points to this typed up memo...

Like the smart **** that I am, I said ...."why no I can`t , but thank you for asking"!
"Oh, wait , your not asking, your demanding.....shame, shame....bad teller Lady"!!

So I go up to the counter and explain that even a sweet `ol beardog such as myself has enemies....mean enemies......reeeeeal mean enemies..!!

"I can`t see without the specks, so here`s my hat , but ....

about this time the sweetie at the desk behind the counter is laughing, and so is the other tellers and asst. Mgrs...they know me, and know I would protect them from buga lars...:D

Well she wasn`t happy with my answers, and said she was going to have the 6'4" security guard escort me to the door...

Of course by then my specks were on the counter and I was in the middle of my deposit, and my teller is still giggling.....she say` se would be happy to escort me to the door if I don`t tell my wife....;)

I said OKAY !!

by this time six four comes over and I`m not impressed,o like a smart A$$ I lean over (and not to embarrass him), I tell him to step back or he`s going to have t earn the 6 buck an hour that they pay him...

I meant it and I could tell he knew it, because I saw him flush......and he steped back...

So`s I puts my specks back on and head for the door.....

THen take them off half way there , so`s not to be a total jerk to her...

as I step out the door, and put them back on.....three friggin cars scream into the driveway...lights Flashin, along with what clearly, and I do mean clearly, looked like major adrenaline pumping.....

One of them gave me a double take (I think he recognized me !) as I stepped aside and said " He`s in there...I think it`s the Bald guy"!!

I jumped in the little M3 and shot home as fast as I could throw gears..!!

Man that little car can handle !!!

think I`ll bring her some flowers tomorrow and appologize..

Never mess with those that control your money !
She could easily have the last laugh !

The worlds become a "no humor" type of place! Unfortunately I would be right there with ya in the same type of scenario. I had a run-in with the "pimples-r-us" gang of Wally World employees in the parking lot after they thought I set off the security alarm.

haha good story. I had a similiar one two weeks ago while waiting outside the movie theater while a friend of mine ran in and bought tickets early for a new release(resident evil). I was sitting in the fire lane, yes i realize it was the fire lane, but i was in my car, it was running and it was in drive, as well as 3-4 other vehicles which looked to be soccer moms waitng for their kiddies to come running out of hte early show.

The rent-a-cop comes driving up to my window, tells me to roll down the window, so i do and he says "You can't be parked here, move it" to which I reply "I'm not the only one here, and im waiting for a friend less than 2 minutes to get tickets. He said he he didn't care so I moved my car, drove around the parking lot and went right back to where i was parked in about 15 seconds.

He then proceeded to come back and say I thought I told you to move blah blah.....to which I firmly told the security guy "Absolutely No, I am not moving, and there is nothing you can do about it"

In the process of him radioing for help because he's too useless to do anything else my friend comes out, jumps in the car, and we're off as I flipped the guy off, told him to have a nice night and enjoy his minimum wage wannabe job. Damn was I furious that he was only bothering me and not the others in the fire lane, there was just no reason for it.

I'm sorry if any of you are rent-a-cops, but this kid(no older than 22-23) thought he had some sort of authority as a security guard, and deserved my remarks to him. :D

In the end, the movie sucked so I guess karma comes back quick.

We get email security notices all the time with pictures of potential robbers. I think I saw your picture. ;)

On a serious note. You can kid bank tellers about a lot of stuff...just not anything to do with security. They are taught to hit the button whenever they "perceive" any type of threat. Too many injured and/or dead bank employees and customers. What may seem silly to you may be viewed as a threat to them...and they are not paid well enough to take any chances. One thing you may also want to remember. Your are on camera and they know who you are. I assume they will let it ride since many in the bank know you. I would probably call the manager and let them know it was a misunderstanding just to be a nice guy, cause anytime the silent alarm gets triggered it is a big deal.

    I agree bro...

Some places are no joking zones...airports, banks, etc.

I know the only reason I don`t have half of the force at my front door, is because they all know me at the Bank..

I`ll drop by with an appology and some flowers for the teller tomorrow...

next time I wear my regular (non sunglass type) specks in there !!!

the sorry excuse for a security guard will be trying to save face from now on, so he`s the one I need to watch out for...

Absolutely not, but i wasn't about to tolerate his **** for being a dick to me when he let all the others do the same who were there for significantly longer than me waiting for their kiddies.

The guard watched me pull up, my friend jumped out, ran inside to buy tickets in lines that were non existant, and then ran back outside and into my car. The whole ordeal took less than 2 minutes and he gave me nothing but grief and let the others off without even a word, and i was FURTHEST away from the door.

I'm gonna safely guess security guards can't have tazers......they actually have little to no power at all. They can't arrest you, they can't detain you against your will, they can't fine you, they can't do a damn thing but irritate you. They should be fined for everytime they irritate a paying customer. I'm not sure about beardogs at the bank whether it was an armed guard or not, but more often than not they are just there to call the real security(the police).

It's not profiling, it's called security measures. If there is newbie in the bank that didn't know beardog, she was just doing her job. It's called 'standard operating procedures', weather you like them or not.

    Anyway, funny story...

Wow, this thread is full of fecking ****. Illegally sitting in a fire lane, and the security guard is the dick? I don't think so.

I know it's de rigueur to demean minimum wage employees; after all the world DOES revolve around you, and it's their fault for having to work such a pathetic job in the first place. They deserve as much misery and derision as you can give them. Right.

The security guard, along with meter maids, etc. are enforcing rules that are in place for a reason. So sorry it interferes with your busy social life. For all you know, the guard might have gotten in trouble if he DIDN'T warn you off. How do you know he doesn't risk losing his job if there's a supervisor watching/listening or his giving you a free pass gets reported back to the boss?

I know, you shrug, because the security guard is nothing but a pathetic loser anyway, right? Talk about deserving a face full of mace...

    Pathetic.

Don't even tell me you've never done it. Or illegal stopped where you should have because it was only going to be a minute.......if you tell me you've never done something like that I really can't believe it.

I guess in a small suburban town like mine practices like this are all to common to hassle people about it......the security guard wasn't a dick for telling me to move, which is fine, he was a dick for letting the other 3-4 cars get away with it without even a verbal warning.

I wasn't being crass at first, I merely told the kid AFTER he watched my friend get out and run in what his intentions were to do, which was to buy tickets at the counter that was all of 25-30 feet inside the door and off we were. I started be crass/immature/whatever you wanna call it when he told me he didn't care and wanted me to move, which is when i literally drove in a circle and as he drove away i went right back to the spot i was.

Thank you, clearly a 22 year old sitting in a nicer car than the rent-a-cop probably owned caught the attention of that guy, rather than the SUV/minivan convention 30-40 feet in front of me right in front of the door.

And back on topic, beardog, you gotta admit you get a better level of service when they know who you are......my local bank always goes the extra mile when I need something done, whether it be taking care of my bags of spare change while they are busy or whatever, they always take care of it no problem.....part of why I won't be switching banks even though mine has a lower interest rate on savings than some other local banks.

I dunno I guess that's just me. If all the other cars moved as well, especially since they were directly in front of me I would gladly have moved. But driving right past them and directly to me, that's a different story and im not gonna tolerate it.
