    B&W CDM 1NTs.

ICs are now AQ Columbias, Speaker cables are AQ Rockefellers.

I think I got the 'synergy thang' going on now. :p

I'd liken the CDMs to a very nice synthesis/balance of the open sparkle & detail of a RTIA3 w/ the rich focused imaging and soundstage of an LSI7(but not as 'laid back').

I'm liking what I hear....sorry....don't mean to derail this thread.

I feel a bit like a moron for asking, but is there an instuction manual to attach the FS20 to the speaker?:o:confused:

It's easy. Two screws hold the speaker to the top of the stand. Make sure the binding posts are at the top. Take the two plastic caps and attach the screws through them and the glass base into the bottom of the stand. All the hardware is in the stand box in a ziplock bag.

I can only offer an observation at the moment but it looks to be for the flat screen and aesthetics based folks. We currently have some other hardcore Polkies burning them in on-site as we speak :D

I snapped this photo when I had them....

They are designed for people like me, who's wife "does not want to see speakers". This severely limits my choices on the market - quality/size/price, pick 2 because you can't have all 3. The vm20 is the best compromise I have seen so far.

I'm in if ownership transfers to me once the evaluation and write up is complete.

Just email me if an option.

I sent labels to Eric for IRLracefan.

I skipped forward since this is the last leg of the VM20 journey. I'll hit the two WI & IL boys then its back to the east coast to finish up with Jstas and Serendipity.

The VM20's shipped yesterday so look for them in the next day or 2 IRLracefan. Enjoy and the boxes are very beat up but hopefully they will survive a few more rounds.

    Thanks Polk Audio!!!

Everything is packed & labeled. I will drop them off at a FedEx location on Wednesday (5/19). As noted previously, the boxes are beat up.
    They're nice speakers - enjoy!

I got the speakers today when I had come home from the weekend. packaging was beat to crap but no holes were found.

The speakers are in OK condition. There are some marks, and dings, and the one speaker has the top and base seem really loose and not tight together like they should be. Set up was ok, however was kinda annoying with threading the cable through the stand but it is what it is.

I'll give some listening impressions tomorrow and this week.
    Thanks!

They were like that 2 months ago (boxes and speakers). I'm pretty sure FexEx drop kicks them into the back of the truck so the fact they are still functional is amazing. Of course, the speakers have new crossovers thanks to their "gentle" handling...

ok. Good to know that at least it wasn't all from when I just got them. There was a rattling inside one of the speakers that I didn't have time to investigate, however I did notice an end of the grill was busted off so maybe somehow that got in there? IDK but it was odd.

Guys, I'm going to be wrapped up in the Capital Area Audiofest this week and weekend, so you'll have to hold off on labels until next weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience.
