SDA parts interchangable?

Hi, I've just bought a pair of SDA 1's. One of them has a few problems...both tweeters and one of the midranges is blown. I did know this when I bought them. I have a pair of SDA2's and figured I'd pull the tweeters and a midrange from them. Will this work?

A problem I didn't know about is the posts for the speaker wire. One of them is broken off. Can it be replaced with one from the SDA2?

Thanks

Assuming you are talking about the SDA 1 (and not the SDA 1A, 1B or 1C) and the SDA 2 (and not the SDA 2A or 2B), the drivers and binding posts are the same, but the tweeters are different.

The label on the back may say SDA 1, but it may actually be an SDA 1A, 1B, or 1C. Same for the SDA 2.

Here is a link to an SDA parts list you may find helpful:

If you have already taken the drivers out of your SDA 1's and SDA 2's and found that they are the same for both speaker models, then there is no problem with switching.

    Thanks for the info.
I've done a little looking around and believe these are SDA 1B's. I think the SDA 2's are also B's. Not sure the difference other than these have 1 tweeter and 2 midrange.

The model numbers of the 6-1/2" drivers are labeled on the back. You could match what you have to what is shown in the chart.
