Absolutely stunning!

If you own a 360, make absolute sure to check it out.

Sound, visuals, art Direction/atmosphere, gameplay, everything is extremely impressive.

I am planning on getting a 360 Premium with HDMI when they are more abundant on the scene. Curious if people have played the demo yet and how much game play you are getting. The game looks SICK!

Glad you seemed to enjoy it as much as I did lanion.

I would say the demo is about 15 minutes long so it is fairly short but oh so sweet.

The storyline and attention to detail in art direction really set this shooter apart. I had two hacked bots and a load of ammo waiting for the thugs breaking in when it ended. :( Looks like an Aug. 21st release. One week and we can play it for real...this year just looks better and better for gaming...should be one interesting release month after another up through early 2008.

Yeah with the price cut, HDMI and 65NM processors being added to premiums and Orange box, Bioshock, Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3, I cant wait to snag one and have a happy end of the year.

I was also very, very impressed with the demo. This has been one of the main games i've been waiting for... I love the retro feel of the game and the attention to detail is phenomenal... must d/l to check it out for sure...

I'm definitely picking this up, the demo was a lot of fun.

Downloaded most of it last night. I'm sure I'll play the demo tonight sometime. I forget, but I believe I preordered the game.

Sorry to dissapoint, but the Xbox elite is still the only SKU with the new 65nm chipset.

Looks like the hdmi premium got the same heat sink upgrade as the elite. Looks like the only way to be sure you get an upgraded unit is to buy a 360 in either flavor with hdmi. Those have the new (hopefully quieter and more reliable) dvd-roms too. I think it's a good rule of thumb to leave any non-hdmi equipped 360s on the shelf...

Now I am confused, last I checked non of the Xboxs used the 65nm chip yet and they were supposed to start releasing them Q3 07?

Gaara, if I'm reading the article correctly, the cooling configurations on the hdmi premium and elite are identical indicating that neither has the 65 nm chip and are an effort to fix cooling problems with the older machines (note the added copper heat pipe carrying heat away from the graphic chip to the mini radiator in front of the CPU heatsink).

None of the new boxes have the 65nm chip yet, they just have the upgraded heatsink but still the same Zephyr chip.

We won't see the Falcon chip for atleast another 2-3 months.

On a side note, all new xboxes produced June 2007 and beyond are coming with BenQ drives which are ultra quiet......another nice little feature.

I played the demo for about 10 minutes last night before I had to talk with my wife. I hate it when she does that.

    Anyways, I wasn't expecting much.

The game is very impressive. I cannot wait for it to come out now. It looks incredible. There is some really nice deep bass as well. This quickly moved up to must buy status for me. The demo is so good I honestly don't care if there is multiplayer or not.

also the newer 'premium' 360's are fitted with hdmi out and not just the elite.

i played this demo last night and i must admit, i got a bit scared. dark house. mega clean bass. but the game was still a bit too dark, even though i played with the contrast setting they give you. and normally with my surround set-up, i can easily localize an enemy target. but with the small rooms and also the fact they can be multiple stories, i had a hard time relying my ears to find the enemies. of course, they might have planned for the sound to be this way. i found myself very frightened. ...somebody hold me.

Bagged + Cheddar thanks for the info. I have been waiting for the heat and noise levels to come down on these units, good to hear about the new drives. Now to decide to wait for the 65nm chip or not.

Once again, just want to clarify since some are posting a bit of misinformation. NEITHER the Premium HDMI or the Elite HDMI currently have the Falcon 65nm chip. BOTH have the Elite motherboard with the Zephyr 90nm chipset. BOTH have the new upgraded heatsink design:

    http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=616884

Both have the new BENQ quiet drives.

Supposedly they are claiming a significantly less failure rate with these new units.....we'll see. I few sites ive been looking at say the Falcon 65nm will be here in the by the very end of the year or beginning next year.

Reminds me of the game Galerians for the PS, you had to shoot up to keep your powers up.

Well I guess I will be throwing in my copy in about 5 minutes...I have had it for a week, but was afraid to fire it up due to getting it so early. Also have Blue Dragon on my desk too.

FYI: Blues dragon is a three disk game.

I'll post my review later tonight.

Nah they have had it released on torrents since last Tuesday, but I was to afraid to play it because of the M$ police. Same with Blue Dragon, release date of 8/28, but I know they have had it out since early last week some time.

BTW- the game is incredible, it took about 3 hours to finish the first level but I did a lot of hunting for money, EVE syringes and med kits.

Level two starts with another battle with an Adam. And that MF'er is hard to kill

Wow Krabby that all you got? FYI- I have 3 360's and have not had one die on me yet, and these boxes are used on a daily basis.

How's that over glorified, Hollywood abandoning Blu-Ray player treating you?

Oh yeah and tell Sony thanks for **** up the release of GTA4
