This is a series that really upsets me as a BR owner.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Same here, don't understand why it takes so long for them to ship movies out (ordered mine 12-9-07) but I guess if I'm saving money, doesn't really matter.Money Talks, Mine says Goodbye Rob!!!! -
Are there any plans to make a fourth Bourne movie?HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Didn't see this in the theater. Just watched the DVD tonight. Like Live Free or Die Hard, some of the stunts were less than realistic, but hey, I was entertained and that's what counts!
I think the ending set up the next sequel!DKG999

Got my trilogy via Amazon just a few minutes ago, loaded and waiting for the web-content update to complete, and....
still waiting for it to finish web update...it's a good 3 minutes + so far. Review coming soon..I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie. -
Ok. Here is a brief verdict:
Ultimatum: PQ, has one would suspect, is very clean. Superb transfer.
Identity: This one is actually where the most improvements, due to the fact that it is a 5 yrs+ old movie, before HD. It fells like I am watching the movie again, for the first time.
Supremacy: No comment, haven't seen it yet.I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie. -
I just came up from my HT about 5 minutes ago from watching Bourne Ultimatum on HD-DVD. Overall the image and sound were great! Right on spec with most of the other newer action titles on BR or HD. This was the first movie that actually started bugging my eyes a bit with all the motion on my 133" screen.
I must say this. It took me 3 times to get past the 1:27 minute mark in the movie due to some flaw that spit out errors and forced me to start the movie over a few times. This was on my Toshiba A30. Just another thing that shakes my resolve of HD-DVD. I have not had that problem on any of the 30 BR disks I own and unfortunately I've been reading that this is pretty common now for HD-DVD disks.
I also bought and watched Harry Potter and I chose the BR version of that movie (could have bought HD-DVD). Until I hear if HD-DVD is cleaning up these pain in the arss disk issues, Ill continue to primarily buy movies in BR format.
Cause it sure sucks to have restart a movie and get to that same lock up point 3 times.Testing

Had zero problems throughout the whole movie on my HD XA2, excellent playback everytime on my player. Again zero problems on the Harry Potter collection on HD DVD for me as well. As for Bourne outstanding PQ/SQ, some of the motion does have you looking all over the screen however it wasnt a big issue. Excellent title and I can definitely watch it again.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Hi. I have both formats, and have lived with HD for over 18 months, BD for about five. I own a HD-A1 and a HD-A20, and a BD-S300.
Early HD releases had issues until Toshiba released their latest SW update. After that, no problems at all. The Hi-def audio codecs work, and the internet features work as well. On the BD side, he latest SW update has helped, but I watched (or tried to watch) the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie last week and had many issues. Couldn't make the menus work, and wound up with english subtitles displayed and could not turn them off. (Even after shutting down the machine.) BD, in my opinion, was rushed to market (seen the first Fifth Element transfer? How about the Samsung filter fiasco?) and still is not quite ready for market. The hi def audio codecs should work, but some don't even exist, and there is no internet connectivity available. But HD has its issues as well.
HD disks manufacturing is reportedly easier and cheaper than BD, so in the long run "should" result in lower disk prices. That's where the real money is spent by consumers in any case. (I own over 100 HD and BD disks.)
My final judgement? I own them both, and by and large, enjoy them both immensely. At the sub-$500 price point (dropping like a stone!) both players are still the two cheapest components in my theater. And without a doubt, the best bang-for-the-buck value in years. My 7.4.4 DIY 4k Home Theater:

NY Chase Scene: One of the best I've seen in a longggg time.
Train Station Scene: Very inventive, and clever.
Bottome line...good movie. Warning though, the camera tends to jump around a lot...but I believe its to give you a more realistic feel.Cambridge Audio AZUR 640R

Happens in the other 2 as well, camera is all over the place. Not a major bother and does add to the real effect.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

Watched it last night on HD DVD. Another excellent Bourne movie. I wish more movies were made like these. Intense, simple, not overdone. I thought the sound quality was excellent too. Perfect amount of bass.

It appears Paul Greengrass (director) has a very limited number of tools in his box to build suspense.
1. attach the camera to a kangaroo with Parkinson's disease.
2. have the film edited by a crank addict on a bender, with.A.D.D.
Seriously....I appreciate action. But I also appreciate story line, plot development, well written dialog, long shots on interesting actors allowing them to...ah...act.
I should have known, when the lead in to the movie was a plug for the "BOURNE ULTIMATUM" video game, where this film's loyalty was.
If they decide they are just making to much freaking money to stop at 3 films, I sincerely hope they bring back DOUG LIMAN as the director.

All 3 Bourne movies were well done. Lots of action. Great picture quality and sound. Matt Damon was the right actor(IMHO) for the part. Also the scene locations were spectacular.

Just picked up the trilogy on Blu and BB for a total of $11.19. Had a BB giftcard and RZ coupons.
My wife and I rented the first two over the past couple of nights and really, really enjoyed them, looking very forward to #3 in an hour or so.If...
