Anyone checking it out this weekend? This is my second most anticipated movie of the summer, behind Transformers.

It's getting rave reviews so far, even as far to say that it's the best action movie of the summer, even beating Transformers.

I'm happy to see this! In an age where we're so consumed by Special Effects, this is a welcome change to see something kick **** without all of the computer wizardry.

I'm a huge fan of the first two, so i'll be hitting #3 on Sunday.

John
No excuses!

I love the first two, as well, and can't wait to see the third. However, I have no plans on seeing it this weekend yet.

I hope to see it this weekend...I could watch the other two on a weekly basis...watched Identity last Monday and am watching Supremacy tonight just to be up to speed. I've had Ultimatim book on my nightstand for about a year and refused to read it because I wanted the movie to be a surprise. I'm not sure there is a movie I have anticipated more....

I also can't wait. Very excited to see it. I might wait until DVD so I can watch it at home without stupid people around me. If a friend wants to see it, I suppose I would cave and go. Anyways, the first two were excellent, and I am sure the third will be great as well.

Anyone read the books? Worth picking up after seeing the first two movies?

Ha, interesting. So these three movies are (loosely?) based on The Bourne Legacy and The Bourne Betrayal?

Oh, oh, I got it. The Bourne Ultimatum is the third and last 'Bourne' novel written by Robert Ludlum. Now Lustbader is continuing the trilogy with The Bourne Legacy and The Borune Betrayal. So there's at least two more movies they can do, eh?

Dude, The Bourne Identity came out as a movie starring Richard Chamberlain in 1988! Haha, I didn't know that.

There were no other 'original' movies from the books, were there?

I cannot wait for this! This is the most anticipated movie for me this year. The first 2 are among my alltime favorite movies!!

I never wouldve thought Matt Damon would be such a good fit for this part, but he owns it.

I wont be able to catch it tonight but maybe tomorrow or Sunday night. Cant wait!

Now that's the way to have a trilogy! Top notch film. LOVED it. Damon nailed it again, and this was the best of the three!

If you enjoyed the first two, you won't be able to look away from the screen on this one. Edge of your seat the entire movie, A+ acting by all parties involved (Julia Stiles actually ACTED this time... amazing :D), and they actually gave you a complete trilogy with questions answered, background and everything... Couldn't ask for a better action flick this year.

If you are debating going to the theater or just buying it, GO see it. It will be well spent money...

    9 outta 10 for me.

Just got back from watching Bourne. I came in this afternoon with the plan of taking a quick nap in between. Well, it didn't happen! It was definitely very engaging till the end. Can't wait for the next one "BOURNE FINALE" (I hope) :)
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Just got back from the theater. 1 REALLY big gripe. The whole camera shaking thing was waaaay overdone. A person couldnt walk 3 feet without the camera behind them shaking violently. During ANY action scene its almost impossible to see whats going on. Very annoying.

That aside, I thought it was a very good movie. Not as good as the 2nd and definitely not as good as the 1st but still quite good.

Ya, but don't you remember the 2nd?! The camera shook all over the place.. way more then the 3rd one. I personally enjoyed it much more then the 2nd one. Probably equal with the first film... although they did have some sweet parts where's he's on the phone coaching the kid thru the mall... that scene rocked. Loved it!

And the 1st "Asset" fight... incredible.

Definitely! The "coaching" scene was very cool.

Thats one of the coolest things about the Bourne movies. He never gets excited. I loved it in the first movie when he has a small batallion of Marines chasing him thru an embassy and he's just casually walking up the stairs, picks up a map, ho hum, lah-dee-dah. LOL! Very cool!
