Suggustions for int amp 1000-1500

Ok guys i've worked out my budget so in the next few months I will be getting a int amp. Presently i'm using paradigm monitor mini's but will be passing these onto my dad. I'm still undecided my next set(s) of bookshelves.
I'm leaning toward the AAD S-1, Era D5's or LSI 7's as my mains and the NHT 3's or Era 4's hooked up for my second pair ( in the my bedroom is that possible). So i'm looking for an IA can support 2 sets of speakers or with a pre-out so I can upgrade later.
My budget is 1k-$1500. My preference is something new. Usage is mainly for music. My room size is well medium i'll have to double check the exact measurements but its more of an L shape. I listen to a wide variety genre's of music so soft and some kinda loud.
Essentially these are the IA's i'm considering the Cambridge Audio 740A, Music Fidelity3.5A which i hear is discontinued, the Nad C372, Flying mole CA-S10. Oh and just for convience the Music Hall mavern yes i know is a receiver but i love the look of it.
Any thoughts on these Int amps guys??? So far i've chosen these due to fact after researching them I can get them in my region. So the floor is yours i'm all ears and eyes......

I just got the Denon PMA 2000IVR and it rocks. The unit weighs 54lbs, solid! IMO the sound is much better than the Nad C372 which I also previously owned. The Nad sounded thin to me, also it did not have the juice to power my LSI 15's. The Denon also has specs for 4 ohms. You can get the Denon from crutchfield, excellent customer service.

Why new? you can get a real nice Krell in that price range used, and most people that own higher end gear take care of it....I love my NAD C320 BEE, so if the C372 is a better version of that, I would have to vote for it.....Never discount quality used gear, you can get a lot of bang for the buck that way...

Good point bill. Used is ok but all depends from whom I live outside north america so getting stuff off Agon is a hassle. Not to sure about ebay. Agon has better reputation.
Never considered that denon before??? hmm might be worth looking into. What do you mean by thin??? Not enough juice in nad??? interesting.Chicomorales:) -

Your option of the Cambridge Audio 740A is a good choice as well, although I'm a bit biased(and willing to admit it). It has a good amplifier section, and some really nice features.Tschüss

I second Musical Fidelity. Don't be scared to buy used. Why get a $1500 amp for $1500 when you can get it less than a year old in new condition for $1000 or less?
I love my MF A3.2. The older A300 and newest A3.5 would also be good choices. Lastly, the A5 would be great, but possibly overkill and at the highest end of your budget used.
Good hunting! Krell, Classe, Naim, Ayre, SimAudio, Bel Canto, Plinius all make integrateds, many of which fall into your price range.Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand

You know, if you find something used and would like it shipped to someone here on the forum stateside, so they can inspect it and re-pack if needed, then on to you, I bet there are a few people here that would be willing to take that on...

i know you wanted to be able to hook up two sets of speakers but this may be too good to pass up, it does have pre outs.

Frank has been building hi-end gear going on 40 yrs now. Hi-end gear at real world prices. You hardly ever see any of his gear on the used market...that says a whole lot in my book. What's also great about Frank's gear is that when an upgrade becomes available as technology improves he will upgrade your gear at a modest price. That way you're always on the cutting edge. That's one of the reasons guys keep his gear forever, along with the superb sound & build quality. http://www.avahifi.com/"2 Channel & 11.2 HT "Two Channel:Magnepan LRSSchiit Audio Freya S - SS preConsonance Ref 50 - Tube preParasound HALO A21+ 2 channel ampBluesound NODE 2i streameriFi NEO iDSD DAC Oppo BDP-93KEF KC62 sub Home Theater:Full blown 11.2 set up.

Upscale Audio has 'em on sale new for $1449. I had its younger brother (the Unico Piccollo) and found it to be a wonderful sounding integrated.I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore -
I'd go for a Krell Kav-300i. You can find them used for around $1000 - $1300. Has all the balls you need to drive anything you throw at it and sound very, very nice.
That said, Music Fidelity makes top notch integrateds, including the A3.5 which I'm looking at for myself...Lovin that music year after year.

Does anyone know anything about this IA the Creak Evo?? Modest poor and pre-outs

Oh you guys were suggusting checking out used stuff I stumbled accross this site has anyone dealt with them before or know anything about them???
http://www.hifitrader.com/index.htmChicomorales:) -

I got you I will work on the bookshelves first, then it would make sense as you are suggusting to discuss speakers. I dont like the a detailed or clinical sound. When you speak of up front you mean a more aggressive sound that you would get from a klipsch speaker?? I like warm and lush. depending on the music. Loud on occasion. But with other pieces its more about transparency.Chicomorales:)

Ok guys i've open to any suggustions you can give on a solid int amp around $700. Definately with pre-outs) I was leaning for separates but well finances....need i say more. I will be pairing it with a pair of opera mezza's can't tell you much about their sound traits till i get them and give them a solid workout! So far these these are the options i've come up with.
1) Within my budget or under CA640 or CA540, Vincent Audio SV-129 Rotel RA-1062
2) Close to or a little over Creek Evo, Nad C372
3) Really pushing it Rega mira3, CA840 Vincent sv-226
What i find really tempting for the price, features and convience is the outlaw2150 seems hard to beat! I'm looking for something preferablely new. Oh and i will prob be adding a pair of era d5 and or dynaudio 52's or epos 12.2's in the near future. Any suggustions guys?Chicomorales:) -
MF 3.2 or 300. I love mine.Stereo Rig: Hales Revelation 3, Musical Fidelity CD-Pre 24, Forte Model 3 amp, Lexicon RT-10 SACD, MMF-5 w/speedbox, Forte Model 2 Phono Pre, Cardas Crosslink, APC H15, URC MX-950, Lovan Stand
