I would honestly like to hear everyone's systems. I say everyone here has somthing different and would all be worthy listening too. I like my small modest system runnign on 8W of tube power. I get to hear Ohskigods system all of the time. Joe's vinyl rig with the SDA's floored me. Troy's system rocked and now want to hear the quads. I have also heard Phil's system and was very impressed. Any chance that I get to meet a fellow polkie I hope to hear there system and hope they want to hear mine.

One I've heard that should be added is "mulveling", he has made an impressive leap into vinyl, not to mention a truly reference system with the legacy's and the JC-1 mono's.
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)

It would be a lot of fun to get my ears on fellow Polkie's systems who are in a two hour (give or take) radius of my South Jersey addy. There's quite a few from what I can gather. Hearingimpaired (already heard Joe's awesome rig, have to hear his new vinyl set-up though) Amulford, Fireman32, Ohskigod, Msalla, Liberty C, F1nut, Jstas. Who'd I miss? Speak up fellows!!

I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

There are way too many to list, but here's a few off the top of my head (with short explanations why):

--Venomclan (wanna hear those Gallo's driven by Krell)
--Dorokusai (he's heard everything...his system's gotta be amazing)
    --Halo (those Innersound's look sweet!)
    --Vr3MxStyler (never heard Tyler Acoustics)
--HTRookie (see above...and a dedicated room!)
--Joey V (already heard it, but one of the best I've come across)
--Russman (the dude knows his audio)
    --Bluemdpickerm (sweet gear!)

I am humbled to make the list, thank you.

There are so many great systems here and friends. Too many to pick, many different "flavors" of sound.

    I am feeling acoustically erect.

W WALDECKER - My #1 pick, he has the system I always wanted. I spent months looking at speakers, reading reviews, looking at forums, and it came down to Gallo Ref 3s or Odyssey Audio Loreleis. I always wondered what it would be like if I went with the Loreleis. One day I will have this system.

Venomclan - Want to hear what the Gallos sound like in a different environment

Midnite Mick - Always wanted to listen to some ushers, and see how the Modwright fares in a different system

Vr3MxStyler2k3 - Taylos and VMPS, two companies I would love to own products from

Zero - an inspiration, he got me into PC audio, and I bought my SIA Rothschilde A2s based solely on info from him

Russman - He seems to always have cool gear, especially that Dodd battery pre

Joey_V - A college student like myself, but a much nicer system then I have, plus he uses a squeezebox as a source.

My door is open to all polkies; if you ever come to Cincinnati you can come get a listen and leave your signature.

Many nice systems here; It would be interesting to hear all of them. I always say that you don't need a lot of dough to have a nice system. I am a fool for small 2 way bookshelves. IMO they offer a lot for the size.

Some that would be on the top of my listening wish list:
-I heard my quote of SDA's, but I'd like to hear what's all the buzz with F1Nut's.
-RT1's Carver Amazings; I had the ALIII's and they left me wanting more.
-One that has not been mentioned here: rskarvan's Thiel 3.6's driven by Krell.

    Thanks for mentioning my system.

    My System:
Thiel 3.6 driven by Krell KAV250A/KAV250P with and ADCOM GDA700 DAC supplied by a Monarchy 24/96 DIP to further correct any source jitter issues that may (or may not be) present. I like it.

I would have liked to hear the 3.1TL's after all the mods.

I'd love to hear the flagship Polk SRS system. Not sure who hear owns those giants.

I have heard one that has bested all others. It is in Mt. Holly, NJ and known as "The Truth" and it's keeper is our very own Mr. Grand of The Jersey Grands. Some may disagree with that and some have come close in thier own efforts but "The Truth" was so awesome in it's awesomeness that I have embarked on a journey to find my own "Truth". I'm already well on my way!

I have heard other Polkie systems. My ears have been graced by the efforts of rigs from the likes of BobMcG, Zero, amulford, spwuinmk67 in addition to Mr Grand. All have been pleasant expieriences and I am sure I will have more to come.

This stuff is so subjective. What sounds fantastic to one person might just sound ok or good to another & vice-versa. The whole idea is to put together a system that's pleasing to you. To try to keep up with the Jones is like a hamster on it's wheel. Who says the Jones system sounds better than yours? Maybe not to your ears, they're the only one's that count. Enjoy what you have & when you get bored with it then it's time for a change.

I would like to limit my list to within an hours drive +/-.

I told Joe that I wanted to hear his vinyl and big **** SDA's.

Jesse sounds like he has something really special and would love to hear what's doin'.

Mark's has awesome equipment but never seems to have any speakers working when I have been there and if I have to let him sit in my lap to listen to some head phones, then so be it.;) I actually bought most of my stuff from him so... I owe a lot to him

I have been to Ben's (Strider) house for some Carver SDA synergy. Sounds real nice. I think he is going to come over an put an ear on my stuff in the near future.

I have also been to Mike's (Schwingding) house to listen to his Strata Mini's and some HT demo with his dual SVS PB2+'s. He has upgraded to tubes and started a couple other systems so I would love to put an ear on some of his new gear combined with some of his existing gear.

John ( Strong Bad ) has some gear I would also like to hear. He also prolly has a bunch of pictures that would be fun to look at.

It also sounds like W WALDECKER has some serious gear.

I find the story behind the gear and how it all works together for everyone in their home to be interesting also.

I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

I've found that out just through my little bit of upgrading.

This is so true. I have also been bored with my setup for a bit now. I'd just like to get my ears wrapped around some other gear. I'm pretty pleased with the adcom/adcom/sda combo(for now) I would just like to hear a real turntable with some good vinyl spinning. A better sacd than what I have would also be nice to audition. I was luck enough to have candyliquor35 and SLOWCOOKIN to send me a set of PBJs and Encore 2's to demo, and I liked them both. The PBJs were more pleasing to my ears and since I have been using Philips,RCA, and Acoustic Research cables and am back into a funk and leaving me wanting the PBJs

Anyone is welcome to come and visit here. Ft Liquor dale is a cool spot to visit, and close to South Beach Miami. Cool Diving around here, and fishing. The first time I came down I went on a charter boat. We headed out of port everglades. We were only out maybe 2 miles, and the captain stopped the boat. I was wondering what was going on. I could still read the signs on the hotels? That is were the blue water was, the ledge, and the sailfish! My girlfriend soon to be wife soon to be X-wife caught a 63" sail right outside the port. Just the water bus ride through the inter coastal is awesome. Multi million/billion dollars homes to check out. One thing to watch out for. We have a saying hear in Ft Lauderdale "Come on vacation, leave on probation, back on violation". It is not safe to pee in the Allys. They love to give tickets downtown to cars that have out of state plates. It is fun, but be careful.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

I'd like to hear any members rig.

    Caveat Emptor:

Anyone who has taken the time to think out the rig, placement, trial and error with different gear / cables, what not to get it sounding 'right' - THAT is a rig I want to get my ears on.

I enjoy the hi-end, who wouldn't? I'll honestly say I'm more impressed by someone who has peiced together, through trial and error, a giant killer rig on a budget, much moreso than someone who simply has deep pockets. Anyone can buy their way into hi-fi, there is a select few that 'come up' to their reference rig. It doesn't happen overnight.

I'll bet there are lots of rigs out there under $3K that can easily smoke a $30K rig. It takes time, patience, research, and experience to pull it off.

Here's an analogy -- everyone enjoys a good meal. Like audio, taste is very subjective. Now the guy on a budget can go to McDonalds and enjoy a $5 meal which consists of a burger, large fries, and a shake. Another guy with deeper pockets can go to a fancy French restaurant and drop $250 on a great meal, but just because the meal cost a lot more doesn't mean it tastes better than a Big Mac. If it's good to you, then it's good, regardless of the price.

As for systems I want to listen to, just like what was mentioned by several members... Anyone with SDA. I've never heard a pair. Also I'd like to some stats and Carver Amazings. I'd also love to hear Madmax's and HBomb's vinyl rigs.
