    Probably the case.

    Although it takes quite a bit of power to fill up my basement, I have my sub set flat, so it's not running out of power or anything.

    The sub sounds really good in the basement.

    The dreaded Bose 901's have had problems in rooms without solid walls. The reflexions were messed up if the walls were not solid.

    Maybe this is why Levinson has a concrete bunker for a listening room, according to a high end dealer ?

    Interesting - my Def Techs are bipolar; although they are not exactly Bose 901s, they do depend on room acoustics...

    when I said messed up, I meant there absorbed instead of reflexed off the walls.
    Kind of mushy.
    Does that make since? (long day)
