Forget about the conditioners. Hire an electrician to install one or two 20 amp dedicated circuits.Speakers: LSi9 x 2, LSic, LSiFX x 2, Velodyne HGS-15
Amps & Power: Rockford Fosgate T8004 x 3, Cascade Audio APS-55 power supplies x 5, and 1 farad capacitor.
Electronics: Denon 3806, Toshiba HD-A1, & Sony KDL46XBR2
Accessories: Anti-IC interconnects, 8 Mondo Traps from Realtraps, and Salamander furniture. -

I think I paid $225 shipped last year. I like it a lot. I saw more of an improvement than heard one. I second the recommendation of getting dedicated lines. The PF60 will only work off of a 15 amp circuit. I will get a few of those and then run everything off of it.
I recently had a ground loop problem through my cable tv line. I ran it through the PF60 and problem solved. Right there paid its price for admission with me.

They were running one of these at Polkfest and I was very impressed with the sound considering the amps and everything plugged into it. For the price, it seems like a very good deal.

I say definitely get a dedicated outlet before you get a conditioner as well. After that, if you still want a conditioner check out the Shunyata products. You can hook up your amp and pre or AVR on 2 outlet Hydra or Guardian in your price range used.Sharp Elite 70

Has anyone used the Belkin PF60 and if so - what did you think of it? (any improvement? Did you use it with an amplifier and if so, did you notice any degridation of the sound?)
Thanks,

What I find interesting about some of the products from Belkin, Monster, Trip Lite, etc. is that you can't upgrade the power cord to their unit. Many of them have **** 18 guage Chinese power cords. I would check out their power cords. Many units do not have remotes or 12 volt triggers.
PS Audio units have IEC plugs so you can upgrade the power cords. The Shunyata Hydra looked like a cheap unit costing a lot of money. I posted information about a Shunyata dissection HereCarl -

I am not sure about the other products, but the power cord on the Belkin PF60 is a firehose. It is really thick. I cannot imagine what power cord would be an upgrade to it, as I have not seen any aftermarket cords as thick.

Yes, see my above posts. I use all my gear listed below + a 36" crt through it and have no problems. Video improvment was the biggest difference.

It's hard to tell from the pic's venomclan. The spec's show a 12 gauge wire, which is good. Many power cords form Signal, PS Audio, etc. are in the 10 gauge. I'm not saying the cord isn't any good, I'd just like manufacturer's to make upgrading the cord possible without removing the old and soldering in the new.
The display shows a "Remote" status, does it have a remote. This thing looks like it's selling for $160!!! It could be a great buy!

Tripp Lite LCR2400
I don't know about the others, but the LCR2400 has a fixed 12 gauge power cord and is rated at 20 amps. I have everthing plugged into it. My ESL speakers, both amps, source, pre amp, power supplies and turntable. The system can play at insane levels. I can crank the volume knob full clockwise on the pre amp with no music playing (including the 68dB gain MC phono stage) and the system is DEAD QUIET. No hum, no hiss, and no grounds lifted.Salk SoundScape 8's * Audio Research Reference 3 * Bottlehead Eros Phono * Park's Audio Budgie SUT * Krell KSA-250 * Harmonic Technology Pro 9+ * Signature Series Sonore Music Server w/Deux PS * Roon * Gustard R26 DAC / Singxer SU-6 DDC * Heavy Plinth Lenco L75 Idler Drive * AA MG-1 Linear Air Bearing Arm * AT33PTG/II & Denon 103R * Richard Gray 600S * NHT B-12d subs * GIK Acoustic Treatments * Sennheiser HD650 * -

The PF30 is a decent step down from the PF60 though.
That being said, I used to have the PF30 and liked it a lot. Then I got my DefTech towers and needed more outlets, so I got the monster. -
I agree with getting a dedicated 20 amp line installed with audio grade outlets to start out with. I speak from experience. I purchased a Monster Power HTS1600 and yeilded severe degredation of sound from my PSW1000 sub and no difference other than that to audio. I also have purchased a Richard Grey Pro400 power supply/conditioner. I have tried them both daisy chained and separated and my original noise of an unwanted noise at a specific frequency still exists. So my point is......after blowing 1200 smackers to eliminate this noise caused by dirty A/C, I still need to go back to the drawing board and install a dedicated 20 amp line.
I should have started there first. Hopefully you won't make the same mistake I did.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
Do we have any electricians or contractors on the forum? What is the approximate cost of installing a dedicated 20 amp line? What benefits can be expected?

Panamax, Belkin Tripplite are all good choices, I could not coment Monster. I personally like tripplite. If you are just looking to get rid of noise, Belkin makes a few good power bars with filtration inthe 50-80 dollar range, also Tripplite makes an "iso-bar that does really well.

For the record - that was with the Cinepro bridged.
Also with my Cinepro I get a faint buzz from the speakers even with the ground lifted. (without the ground lifted, it is a loud buzz that cannot be ignored) At PolkFest plugged into the LCR2400 the Cinepro was cranking when bi-amped to very loud levels and with the ground engaged - was dead silent when the source was not playing (even at full volume). The difference was night and day.
