I am selling my HK AVR-235 $200 shipped

I am selling my HK AVR-235, because I need funds real quick. I am getting an Outlaw 990, and need the money yesterday. The HK has only been used as a Pre Pro for 8 months. It has a very clean neutral sound, the plastic cover is still on the faceplate, and it has component switching, and is a nine out of ten. The only reason I am selling it is I need balanced outputs, and phonon in.
I take pay pal, and WILL pack it properly.
Thanks Ben

    Sold
I also have a Yami 5850 that I am willing to let go for $160 shipped. I have the manual, and remote. No pre outs, but 110*6 with DTS. I needed something cheap at the time. This is a good HT receiver. I don't care for it with bright tweeters. This thing is a 9 out of 10 also. Of course component in.
    Thanks Ben
I will start a new thread tomorrow. with a link to specs.

Sorry you feel that way. Its first come first serve. Real nice post. The reason I am selling it so cheap is that I needed the money yesterday. I also have a Yami up for sale. I won't hold what you said against you. The Yami is even cheaper.

Even Darla acknowledged that Willow had first crack at it.

Definitely not an ethical selling practice, Ben. In fact, it's just bad juju.

Not whatever! We have an honorable way of doing things around here, get to know it.

Besides, he wasn't going to lose a sale. Wingnut said she WOULD take it, IF Willow didn't.

this is a $200 receiver not a once in a lifetime vintage set of polk speakers, you guys are drama queens sometimes. HE stated at the start of the thread he needed the money ASAP which means if you dont have the money ASAP and someone else does too bad. Getting all mad at something you can buy on ebay whenever you want is a little brutal

There's a reason for the way of things around here. You'll see it as drama until you're the one getting screwed.

I doubt Willow is pissed about not getting the reciever as much as he's mad about the practices of the seller.

If you need cash that badly, hawk your wares on eBay.

Yep, that's how the "good will" works here on the Flea Market. This isn't e-bay or any other random selling site. This is the way we want it and if you guys don't like the way it's run then stay the f*ck out of the FM. If you need quick cash or top dollar take it somewhere else.

Lots of newbs on here lately that just plain rub me the wrong way. Ben you seem like a good guy and I really have no issue with you, but what you did wasn't cool. Time to move on.............nothing more to see here.

I'm gonna say this was extenuating circumstances, and Ben made it pretty clear that "first pay, first served." Saying you had to check with a third party and get back to the seller the next day isn't quite a solid offer / interest.

Maybe Ben could've communicated better, but this isn't a big deal. No one is getting screwed, just minorly inconvenienced.

You reading a different thread? It doesn't say that anywhere in initial communication. Just that he needed money.
