Bob's got some tubes up on the 'bay. Perfect Matched Octet GE NOS, NIB 6550 Vacuum Tubes, 9 total. These were originally slated to go into the Carver Silver Seven tube amplifiers.~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -

Hmmm...IF they cracked AFTER the were painted, wouldn't the black plastic show thru inside the crack??/ Looks more lnke someone spray painted a pair, and redid the grils... Wonder why he didn't paint the Csi5 and claim they were "One of a kind too" ....LOL

That's what I thought. Had me thinking of selling my 25-31PC+ for $5-600 and only have to come up with $4-500 for an Ultra but my wife would kill me. -

This is what I paid for my Plus/2 in textured black and it still stands as the best HT purchase I've ever made. Anyone within a 3-4 hour drive who needs a sub should be making plans to pick it up this weekend.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
