    Order it for $69 and try it out. (I think the sale is over though).

    Resell it on Craigslist if you don't like it. It's not the first or last speaker to use a crossoverless design. The problem is not the full range drivers, the problem is the tweeter with no crossover. That's asking for harsh treble.

    havent we already coverd this one on pages 43 and 44 ? its crapp,, and he shipps them for 79 on ebay..its not that good of a deal and they were never 479

    TAD speakers are a Chinese brand, IIRC. Ricardo had a pair of the bookies at the Bloomington PF in '07 and they sounded alright. Nothing to write home about but certainly worth the low cost and still sounded better than anything BB carries.

    well thats a big diff , now i wonder how it would perform for dolby llz duties as you dont need a timbre match for front hight

    Apparently CA is discontinuing the 640c v2 because they think it sounds too crappy, and are releasing a 650c to replace it. Looks like a good deal on something which will hold it's value for a year or two.
