I guess I should add that I also am not a fan of black wood. I prefer seeing the grain. I would imagine that is some form of press board or MDF with laminate. Which I'm not a fan of either. Yes I know my speakers are made of it. Yeah it is nice to see and the first one I have seen. It looks to me like the Peerless tweeter doesn't have a hole. Strange the way there is no cardboard gasket on the Passive. My 79 7B's had cardboard on both the silver basket MW and Passive. I would be afraid to remove it due to the possibility of damaging the surround.George / NJ

I heard they were musically very neutral sounding and overall just meh.
