10K retail speakers aren't likely to be used with a cheap receiver. I wouldn't give it a second thought.

With my M&K MX150 sub, there was a cloth like that between the two 12 inch drivers.

I had a VERY NICE older Kenwood Component system with older Kenwood speakers.
I sold it for 500.00 10+ years ago and that too was a regretful sale. The speakers were like these KL-777 I believe. They sounded great to me, but I'm easy to please;
The amp I think I had. It never got over slightly warm, and that was after jamming for hours while washing our vehicles and waxing one or two. AHHH the good ol' days when I could do that easily.
