Very good, I told her I couldn't make it till the weekend. She said she couldn't hold them that long.
An old girlfriend told me that once. -
Good deal in the Valley of the Sun, no affiliation. LSI15's in ebony, ad says they are in new condition. https://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ele/d/polk-lsi15-tower-speakers/6666865905.html
I want those, even though I have no room!
Then again, I want just about every speaker that I see, so that’s no surprise... -
Super cool looking tube amp!
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/swap-meet/325686-paralleled-6hb6-amp.htmlA Paralleled 6HB6 push pull amp. I started with Tubelab’s SimplePP board and modified it to use 6HB6 tubes. I liked it..alot. So I paralleled more 6HB6 and changed power and output transformers and ended up with about a 30W amp.
With no input there is a slight hum. It wasn’t there before I paralleled the tubes so most likely it’s wiring. I didn’t notice it with music playing so it didn’t bother me but i’m sure it will bother some.
I have extra 6HB6 tubes.
power transformer is a Amplimo toroid 5N1609
output transformers are Amplimo toroidal 3A534-UL 3.54K ohm

Could be a good deal if they smell like litter box and moth balls...hmm I’ll have to ask. Judging from the pictures, they just might.

At least they take their wiring seriously...“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

lol Ren and Stimpy. You'll never see a cartoon like that these days.

This looks like a pretty good deal on a minty Parasound A-21. $1750 appears to include PPal fees and shipping, though it's not clear from the posting:

"PayPal fees and shipping in US covered."

"PayPal fees and shipping in US covered."
Which implies that they're "covered" meaning past tense... done and done. Would be more clear if seller continued with "...covered by seller" or, alternatively, "...by buyer."
Considering the probably shipping costs, I'd have taken more care.“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

@Clipdat - My bad. I didn't see that in the headline. Just in the body of the ad. Makes more sense now. Thanks.“Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'”

I agree the wording of the ad could use some improvement.
At least it's the cooler looking black version! -
At least it's the cooler looking black version!
For sure. I'm semi-in-the-market for a SS amp to go with my Joule LA-100, but I've not researched the Parasounds enough to make the jump. I also have a pile of gear I need to sell before my wife will let me consider adding anything. Plus I think @tonyb has me interested in a Butler...
