both are 60 watts and pretty close in price. which one would be better at driving 8 ohm 87 db. speakers?

Have not compared them, but I am using the TAD-60 and I can say it will be tough to find something as good for the price.

Have not heard the Bella but I own a pair of TAD-60's and IMHO they are fan-tas-tic. Customer service w/ Paul is top notch too. The TAD is very versatile w/ the feedback adjustment & the gain control.

I'm biased tword the TAD but good luck!

That Bella specs look good; at least uses very good components (Sonicap/Vishay). It would be interesting to have some users opinions

Horizontal bi-amp. One amp on the panels and one on the woofers. Went back to SS recently.

I'm bi-amping; one for the lows using 6550's, one for the mid/highs using 6CA7's (EL34's). Love it.

Bill Baker at Response Audio has been modding Jolida tube amps and has been a dealer for them since the Jolida company was founded.i have not heard either the Bella Extreme 3205 or the TAD 60 but i have heard the Bill Baker Modded 200 wpc ASL Extreme Hurricane monoblocks and they were the finest sounding Power Amplifiers that i have ever heard in my life period  i am sure that both are good choices but i must admit that if i did not find my Sonic Frontiers SFS 80 i was going to buy a Bella Extreme 3205 from Bill Baker! good luck :D

Those are nice; I like the stainless look; one thing I don't like though is the binding posts on the top of the chassis.
