Onkyo also makes a solid 6 disc changer, the DX-C390. I have it in the kids HT system so they can load up a bunch of CD's and hit random play. Solid mechanism and doesn't sound too bad either. I have an older Onkyo Integra version of this player that I have had since about 1994 and it still works and sounds great.DKG999

That's nice, but I've got a couple of excellent single disc CDPs (comparable to the Rega) that I rarely use because I've got CD Changers that are just as good and outweight the benefits of the single disc players.Halo wrote:Thats  but this isn't about you
Bingo. He wants a changer and has a budget so a suggestion of a single disc CDP 2-3 times his budget really isn't doing HIM any good."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

I have never heard the newest Denon changer but I've had a lot of experience with it's predecessors. I've actually owned the SCD C2000ES. I would go with the Sony between the two. Better built and better sounding than the earlier Denons. I paid less than $300 for mine but the company I bought it from no longer sells Sony consumer stuff. They can be had for a little over $300 from several online sellers."Just because youre offended doesnt mean youre right." - Ricky Gervais

I have this changer. I wouldn't place in the class of a Sony ES, but it's not bad at all. However, $120 is a bit steep as I paid $60 for mine 2 years ago with the same accessories.
