    Well, I kinda thought that the white was nice.It was like a statement by microsoft,something different looking against all the black out there.So why not stay white instead of going with the grain again.I wonder if the Wii will go black also?

    Just a little history lesson, Microsof did release the original Xbox in different colors also. Its not the first time they've done this. Its hardly 'copying Sony'. Sony didn't invent black.

    not copying sony by any means. and fyi, i'd love to have a black 360. but then my hd dvd add-on would miss-match. everything i own is black and silver, even my underwear.

    I wonder when Cheddar and Scottvamp are going to get over their obsession of constantly making backhanded comments about the 360 at every turn. I don't see anyone doing that to the PS3. They're both out now. Shut the **** up and enjoy your goddamn systems. There's no war here for gaming fans, only in your narrow little heads. These types of threads are getting so incredibly old.

    Yes, we don't have to read them. But, unfortunately the comments come into nearly every thread about a 360 game, or when someone has a question about it. Hell, even in the Guitar Hero II thread we actually had the idiotic comment made that it shouldn't be purchased for the XBox 360 because the PS2 had it first and is established on that platform. :rolleyes:

    I don't seem to remember the same fanboy fervor with Calecovision or the TurbroGrafx 16:D
    I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down.     Color doesn't matter much on the 360 to me, I need to look into the warranty issues but I want to actually remove the whole case and air-brush it with some custom colors... it's this kick **** paint that actually forms crystals under the surface when it dries... looks BAD ****!!!

    Every company has copied off others, but are you saying sony copied off the sega master system with its black color?

    and that comment about the wii, don't you know that nintendo made different color n64s and gamecube? why are we even wasting our time talking about the **** color of the system?

    As soon as the PS3 gets some titles under it's belt I will buy it no questions asked. It's the exact same thing I did with the XBox 360. I bought it in March of last year waiting for some games to come out. Bought it with G.R.A.W., if I recall correctly.

    The fact that this crap is still carrying on is just retarded. I mean, one guy is seemingly purely dedicated to posting about Blu-Ray and Sony ad-nauseum. What gives?

    you can argue hd dvd vs blu-ray still, but the gaming platform is owned by xbox 360 right now. hands down. a year's head-start worth of titles. yes. and when ps3 begins to ramp up, i may just end up getting one, though i hate sony. lay the argument to rest, xbox is the best.:cool:

    btw, i have yet to strike down the ps3. but i damn well will defend the 360 against monkey-boys whom speak from their asses.

    I personally want Bluray to at least stick around for data backup reasons. Beyond that I don't really care. Its in my personal best interest for Microsoft to be profitable, but their media and gaming division is pretty inconsequential to them.

    I could care less who wins or loses. All I am concerned about is viable options without having to pay through the nose for them. That was my only issue with Sony prior to the PS3 being released. I didn't think that $600 units would sell hot enough, save for the 'gotta have it' Christmas crowd, and that most people would wait for the price to drop, if Sony could even sustain the losses in order to make that happen. That opinion was left in a few threads many months ago. I don't feel the need to go "heheheheh u r so stoopid. Sony suXorz!!11! :p;):p;)" in every thread.

    Your the only one that is getting **** over this. I have not said anything negative about XBox. Yes, i am a Playstation fan from the day i bought my PS1 on preorder. Which Has nothing to do with "SONY". I loved my SNES, which is were PS got there controller design from.

    50% of Xbox fan boys were Nintendo fans that bashed the PS1 and felt really dumb when the PS2 brought Nintendo and Sega to thier knees. Nintendo almost out of consoles all together. And Sega colsoles destroyed. I am happy to see Nintendo get back on thier feet. The XBox was thier shinning armour, because that could not bring themselves to by the Sony they have been bashing for years. Its the Ford vs Chevy thing.

    My problem started with all the PS3 bashing that started here. I would say 7 out of 10 people who commented said that made PS3 and Blu-Ray were automaticlly doomed and would never even take off. Extinct, bata max material. My opinion was "you guys are freaking crazy". I did defend the PS3 at that time. Well damn, we were right and you guys were wrong. Stop crying and take it like a man.

    I bought the first DVD player on the market and people thought i was crazy.

    open yourself up and give it a chance. once you get better at it vs getting thrashed the minute you re-spawn and also all the team killing matches, then i believe you'll see some fun times and realize there is more to the game than just shoot 'em up anarchy and that you can use strategic planning techniques.

    I haven't, but I'll definitely play this weekend. :(

    You should check out Crackdown. They have a co-op mode where you can just join your friends single player game as long as they are on live and have it set that way. I think it's kind of cool.

    All I know is that Unreal Torunament III is coming out for both systems really soon. I'll probably be playing that game for months on end. Love that game.
